OK I have now donned my Jackson Chourio jersey that I have not worn for *every* playoff game, but have not washed since the playoffs started. Sorry for the delay; hopefully this will get the job done.

See now he’s in company with Babe Ruth. The Chourio jersey has mystical powers, its power cannot be denied.

I am basically speechless. I have been waiting my entire life for this. I wish Uecker could have seen this. I love my hometown Milwaukee and the National League champion Brewers!!!

Hope Fox exec that de-flexed Packers-Bears from a national audience because the Packers aren't very good and Caleb Williams is injured, is having the day he deserves. Rivalry always compelling TV no matter team quality, and they just blew chance at ratings-grabbing hagiography with Ditka passing.

It’s a shame Bluesky is asleep and missing the Jake Bauers “I only kept playing because I needed health insurance” story because boy does that say a lot about Everything

the brewers learning how to homer in the playoffs is like in Jurassic Park where the velociraptor figures out how to open the door

By far the best random bsky search I’ve made in a while is to check out what everyone’s thoughts are on Liberty Biberty.

The perfect pairing for people who like their news the way they like their hockey: complete ass.

@drewmagary.bsky.social we need you to bring back the funbag poop story segment just one time to get the first-person account of this.

A man so desperate to use the bathroom at a Kroger supermarket in Texas intentionally crashed his 2006 Chevrolet HHR through the building’s front doors because the store was closed, the authorities said.

Having seen their recent work in our neighborhood, I endorse this message. Just a bunch of hacks. Excuse me, I meant “Qualified vegetation management”

THE PREMISE IS THAT THE MUPPETS ARE PUTTING ON A SHOW CALLED THE MUPPET SHOW

DiscussingFilm@discussingfilm.net

There are currently no active conversations for a full ‘MUPPET SHOW’ series revival. Disney, The Muppets Studio and Point Grey Pictures have had difficulties with deciding on a premise for the series that they can all agree on. (Source: Deadline)

You mean their strategy of targeting endless ads on the dumb ad-supported kids games my 10-year-old plays on their iPad didn’t pay off? Shocker.

Real clown car pileup going on across the river in my native state. Here's an idea: How about just let the voters decide? Consultants/Party rulers not fully appreciating the Upper Midwest progressive energy and diverse coalitions that are going to propel both Hong and Flanagan to primary wins.

Dan Shafer@danshafer.bsky.social

A Democratic source tells The Recombobulation Area that it is now “75/25 Crowley gets in with Evers endorsement.”

Also, *intriguing* that Evers in this batshit scenario would not simply endorse one of the other remaining non-Hong candidates, including his *own* previous Lt. Gov. Lotta bad blood in Madison beneath the surface!

Look, I’m not going to ignore the pitcher elbow injury epidemic in today’s game. But can I ask why, every single time Miz pitches, my mentions are lined with this angle of discourse? A guy is doing something we’ve never seen before. It’s neat. We don’t need to immediately jump to this.

What a great message to send to the families, students, and staff of MPS! Take yourself to Wayzata too and manage their police force.

In a couple years, it's not gonna be fun anymore to be ex-Catholic. Instead of being mostly people who don't like the abuse scandal or have standard atheistic doubts, we'll be flooded with a bunch of people who are like, "I'm mad the pope said you have to love your neighbor as yourself."
