Deliberate voter suppression that is ancillary to gerrymandering! Where are all the polling booths that used to be in Wgtn CBD where 1000's work & live? They've all gone! Are we going to be excluded because the short hrs/poor access/long queues like the US? Outrageous!

Never have I seen the “born to rulers” rubbing it in the faces of the proles more Luxon’s expressions of their likelihood of winning is based on modelling they’ve done to see effects of voter suppressions they’ve put in place, we are already two steps behind them Every vote matters! #NZPol

thekaka.substack.comThis story should dominate the election debateStarship’s cancer treatment suspension is emblematic of decades of health system underfunding eroding public services to points of collapse; Hospital system now second-biggest voter concern, & rising

Exactly this! In my experience they are predominantly white men. Liars, tax dodgers & thieves. In it for themselves, they just don't care. No wonder Jesus threw tables in the money lenders temple! The key moment that started our fall in AoNZ was Luxon crossing the road in a limo. Greed personified.

The government’s austerity ideology and its atrocious overreach into local body funding is creating a bleak future to which the only counter the govt has is to point at a spreadsheet and declare “look, number go down” like a toddler pleased with its finger painting. www.rnz.co.nz/news/regions...

Some thoughts on Nicky Hager's "Dirty Work: The Taxpayers' Union and New Zealand's Hard Right" which was launched tonight. These thoughts are informed by a research project we did earlier this year looking at NZTU discourses which involved analysing two years of its media releases and other outputs.

I don't believe any party right of the Greens will break up the supermarket duopoly and if they do anything even vaguely approximating it I will find and eat one of the animatronic Big Fresh vegetables #nzpol

Labour is too scared to give National any potential attack option over taxes, as if the whole election hinges around who will cut or not increase taxes. Nevermind the fact that National just attacks Labour over potential coalition tax policies anyway.

Now, that's what I call journalism! Just pure newshound energy, 29 seconds of the facts and nothing but the facts. Nice work by Glenn McConnell. 🎬 👏 Maybe the *slightest* hint of an editorialising eye-roll at the end, but entirely understandable in the circumstances. www.stuff.co.nz/politics/361...
