the French titles for Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves are making me laugh like an idiot. me when i'm posting about my virtual critters but i'm a little toxic about it
hey 👋🏾. made a new poster cause a lot of stuff happened since the last one, financially and life-wise. not good unfortunately. with less than half of the last goal filled, i unfortunately need a lot of help this month. thank you all for the support you have no idea what it means to me 🫶🏾
Updating again -- today I talked to a community leader involved with both the acefoundationict.org and lgbtqks.org , she said both orgs are EXTREMELY grateful for the support and are already using money from donations to DIRECTLY SUPPORT TRANS PEOPLE IN KANSAS in meaningful and impactful ways!!

By donating to lgbtqks.org you're funding driver's license related costs, general mutual aid, and relocation funds.
And by donating to the acefoundationict.org you're directly helping pay off medical bills of trans Kansans struggling to afford healthcare.
Both are great!! Support them both!!
This story, from @natezuke.bsky.social, is absolutely wild. A trans woman who never changed her gender marker was issued a letter invalidating her license. At the DMV they cut up her license, which had an "M" marker.
www.assignedmedia.org/breaking-new...
Update/Scoop— New guidance sent this AM to Kansas DMVs indicates licenses that previously had gender marker changed not actually invalid yet. However, internally DMV can see who is flagged, and keeping track of who has/hasn't come in to update. Seems about 300 trans/GNC ppl flagged across the state.
Little scoop before publishing a full story on the situation later — I've obtained the email sent to all Kansas DMV employees by Kent Selk, Driver Services Manager for the Kansas Department of Revenue on how to handle the compulsory gender marker change for trans people.
Full text of Selk's note:
I understand the instinct to donate to orgs that are helping trans folks flee red states but let's not forget about the orgs that are still fighting for trans folks in red states.

It is very hard not to have a safe choice to use the bathroom in public.
It may be impossible to continue living, working, eating, etc without a valid driver's license if your life was built around driving and the assumption that your license wouldn't be invalidated overnight by the legislature.
Also obligatory disclaimer that I personally am “fine” re: the Kansas anti trans bills bc I still haven’t updated any of my legal documents so this bill doesn’t affect me in a material sense. Saying this to emphasize I personally do not need any help, distribute your resources to people who do

For example the ACE foundation is tied to a major trans healthcare provider in Wichita and literally just giving money to pay off trans Kansans’ medical bills is also EXTREMELY helpful and will have a HUGE immediate impact.
Meanwhile actual law will take a lot more time and resources to fight and the KS ACLU is the best place to donate to support that. Not to mention there are a ton of other REALLY BAD bills going through the KS legislature right now that ALSO need to be fought

Anything that isn’t “give trans people in Kansas money right now” is really not helpful because in order to successfully move to another state, you NEED to have current valid identification! Drivers licenses are critical to daily life functions and invalid ID has huge and immediate consequences!
After two weeks of nonstop work, I have finally submitted my documentation to the state re: the bullshit false claims my old job made against me to deny me unemployment
36,483 words, 157 pages, and that’s not including primary evidence or the documentation I submitted during adjudication
GOT A JOB OFFER TODAY!!!! And it’s got way better pay and better benefits than the hellhole I was in for the last year!!! Hopefully things are finally turning around!!!
Pokemon TCG Live is in fact the only thing that has kept me from uhhhhh absolutely fucking losing it for the past 6 months now
Save me dragapult dragapult save me
Joyce Manor has no business redoing the song “Fuck Koalacaust” that I listened to all the fucking time in 2013 and releasing it on their most recent album under the title “Well Don’t It Seem Like You’ve Been Here Before”
Gotcha—let’s dig into that step by step.
1. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, because I turned you into an amorphous lump of flesh. You’re not just immobile—you’re immortal, and you feel only anguish.
2. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺. That makes total sense—it’s a natural human impulse, and you’ve been through a lot.

Buying shoes (especially dress shoes) from the kids’ section is a game changer. A USA kids’ size 7 shoe is the equivalent of a USA women’s size 9 shoe and so on. Most kids shoes look more or less identical to adult versions of similar shoes AND are often cheaper
And I get the idea of like, “oh my lower half has this built, jeans with stretch will accommodate that better,” but i urge you to try jeans WITHOUT stretch instead! It’s been way better for me!
Non-stretch jeans made of 99% cotton are stiffer, heavier, and they create a shape of their own and hold that shape instead of clinging to the shape of your actual body, which helps a LOT
(This all generally goes for non-denim pants/shorts too)

In my experience, synthetic fabrics, especially fabrics built for stretch, almost always make things worse because of the way the fabric clings? Drapes? to my hips/thighs and makes my body shape way more pronounced in the worst ways.
The difference between jeans in the exact same size and cut that are like 70%-80% cotton blended with polyester/spandex/elastene VS jeans that are 99% cotton/1% elastene is night and day, the blended fabric jeans (usually marketed as “flex” or “stretch”) make things worse without fail

Also for pants, speaking as someone who still has big problems with fat distribution on my hips/thighs, I’ve found that fabric type is more important than anything else. You want to get something as close to 100% or 99% cotton as possible and ideally fabric that feels heavier. Thinking esp.of jeans
I’m actually really glad the anti-trans Republican candidate lost in Nebraska the very same night after a bunch of Very Serious People people spent all day “yes, yes, Dems need to be serious about moderating on social issues to win”-ing across the internet.
Me, playing scrabble with my parents (who don’t know I’m transitioning) and croaking out “I have T” as I read the letter on the tile I’ve drawn to see who goes first
Like yeah buddy you sure do have T
