NEW! @stuartpstevens.bsky.social talks about the absurdity of talking about what is wrong with the Democratic party when the GOP has completely abdicated it's role and has become an extremist movement. "You need to go out there and fight and wrap yourself in what is really American"

The “slip in your mental faculties” line should become a common refrain.

Pritzker: Trump looked at the cameras and asked for me personally to say, Mr. President, can you do us the honor of protecting our city? Instead, I say, Mr. President, do not come to Chicago. Your remarks about this effort have betrayed a continuing slip in your mental faculties

July 18: If we have a smart president, you're never going to let the dollar slide. If you have a dummy, that could happen. July 25: A weak dollar makes you a hell of a lot more money. It doesn't sound good, but you make a hell of a lot more money with a weaker dollar than with a strong dollar

I hope the democrats see this is how to do it. Just never answer a question. Only talk about what you want. The media is of course harder on democrats than republicans but…give it a try.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

this clip perfectly illustrates how Republicans *successfully* flood the zone with conspiracy theories 1. Ron Johnson is asked about Epstein 2. He immediately changes the topic to Obama 3. The host chases the shiny object and asks about Obama. Johnson never has to weigh in on the Epstein coverup.

What’s still crazy to me is that people still cover this like it was real. There was never congressional approval. It’s complete madness that everyone just skips over that. If democrats just started some organization, no way would media just go along with it.

Finally got a chance to watch the @joshjohnsoncomedy.bsky.social routine about Trump and Epstein that came out a few days ago. I am blown away that he managed to put together a full hour of stand-up about breaking news and it's somehow polished and funny as hell. Give it a watch and share it.

Exactly. There should be a rule against doing it. No more revolving doors.
