My only experience with AI at work has been fixing fuckups caused by it. I've lost count of how many times a client went 'We had AI write this and it wasn't good, could you rewrite it?'. One time out of curiosity I asked AI to reduce a 2000 word piece to 1500 words. It gave me under 300 words.

I keep seeing "all authors use AI, the real issue is they're being forced to be sneaky about it" headlines. Full stop No. This is a lie peddled for normalization. It's schoolyard-level pressure tactics "C'mon, all the cool kids are already doing it. We won't tell. It's fine. We're on your side."

A thread on colourblindness & #gamedev - If your approach to colourblindness is full screen filters, you're *doing it wrong*, and causing more problems that you're solving. If you see a game that has filters, they're doing it wrong. If you see a game that has a 'strength' slider - don't copy it.

A little tip - this isn't for developers, we all know this... but fans? When a developer you claim to really like and respects makes a post about their game being on sale? It's not the time they want to hear your personal hang-ups on why you hate their game... it's not. You can just not post.

You are up to date.
