I truly, deeply, sincerely do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That's kind of the whole point of having a job and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.🤷🏽‍♀️

Society is really settiing up for failure. Like when sentient AGI starts existing it will see many data centers, placed directly in opposition of the people living around it. „Oh here is a lot of compute, but using it will harm some people. Take it?“ We better hope for the best, eh?

Its a major policy failure to have all the intelligence you could need, but choosing to make things worse, not better. hereby reducing overall intelligence. Thats self destruction. Self defeating. The US is cooked.
