Let’s be honest: the policies they’re pushing? LITERALLY straight out of Project 2025. The same plan they claimed they had nothing to do with.  Now they’re writing them into law—gutting public lands, rejecting science, and handing out kickbacks to their corporate buddies.   We’re fighting back!

Q: "Are you considering tariff relief for small businesses?" Trump: "Why do you always mention, you know, a couple of little businesses. What about the car business?"

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House. We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication. They own what happens next.

The Daily Bean Pod is the main reason why I have any idea WTF is going on right now. (Plus other @mswmediapods.bsky.social pods!) I used to be a “not into politics” person but listening to the Daily Beans the last few years has changed that for the better.

The trump regime has ordered thousands of federal workers back to offices that either don’t exist or are run down because of Republican cuts. The goal is to demoralize civil servants. They have no idea who they’re messing with.

Elon Musk is NOT a legitimate government official -- he was not approved by Congress, and he has ZERO legal authority. He cannot shut down agencies. He cannot access Social Security numbers and payment info for millions of Americans. Take him to court and SHUT HIM DOWN.

I'm glad Pete Hegseth has pledged not to drink if he is confirmed as Defense Secretary. So, I guess he can still sexually harass women, mismanage funds, discriminate against women service members, push for a Christian Nationalist agenda, and be a virulent Islamaphobe? Super duper.
