Reminder: Voter registration deadlines are hitting TODAY, October 5, in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas. Please make sure you’re registered to vote!
A lot of what’s happening doesn’t seem to be spreading anymore by mainstream media. A tree that stood for an estimated 150–250 years was destroyed today to make way for Trump’s border wall.
Americans are relearning the lesson we learned during the Gilded Age of the late 1890s, when robber barons ran the government and the economy for their own benefit: Oligarchy is incompatible with the common good.
I'm hopeful we'll respond with a new progressive movement.
None of the cheerleaders of the Permitting Reform bill are talking about the fact that it establishes a 150-day statute of limitations for lawsuits under *any* federal law challenging authorizations for coal, oil, and gas extraction. Forever.
150 days is no time at all.
Five corporations control 90% of the US media.
Airlines have merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.
A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry.
Four giants control 80% of meat processing.
The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.
It simply never ends. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Brian Nesvik issued new guidance interpreting the Endangered Species Act’s prohibition on “taking” endangered wildlife much more narrowly. Under the new interpretation, an action generally has to be intentionally
This is a big deal and it deserves a lot more attention. A federal whistleblower is sounding the alarm about a nationwide DHS operation called the “Unlawful Voter Initiative.”
According to the disclosure, hundreds of employees at U.S. Citizenship and
NEW: DHS's Inspector General releases a scathing report about the Everglades detention camp known as "Alligator Alcatraz." The OIG finds that the now-closed camp, violated multiple ICE standards.
The OIG also confirms detainees were punished with placement in a metal cage in the Florida heat.🧵
I’ve yet to see anyone mention a plan if (and probably when) the occupying government cheats and rigs the election (which they’re already trying to do).
Like when November comes around and they “win”, what next?
Millions of people rely on the information they obtain via a search engine corporation which just proved it would alter digital reality if instructed to do so by those in political power.
That’s some crazy shit, Google.
The Trump administration is considering giving a private developer access to land inside Yosemite National Park so they can build a road to an 83-acre property they want to develop right outside the park. The National Park Service already rejected the same request years ago, and the previous
We, the people, have spoken:
Politics shouldn't suck this much!!
Join us September 3 for the KAPOWstitutional Convention, where we'll talk solutions, strategy, and how we can start a KAPOW revolution together:
For those of you that haven't read it, Chapter 10 of Project 2025 was literally about creating food insecurity by cutting safety nets and slashing regulations and restrictions on food production.
No, we weren't overreacting to Project 2025.
If you're not motivated already, maybe this 👇will do it for you. I'm stilled pissed off at the people who didn't vote in 2024 or voted 3rd party, so excuse me for being bitchy (not).
The Pentagon fired the publisher and editor in chief of Stars and Stripes, the military newspaper that is supposed to maintain editorial independence from the very department it covers.
General Strike.
It doesn’t matter you don’t have everything prepared to be comfy during.
Do it.
People are being murdered in the streets. People are disappearing into concentration camps.
The world has passed 1.5 degrees and is climbing. Data centers are accelerating this.
“But, if we all show up this November, we can vote him out!”
Grow up. Even if he doesn’t get Elon to rig the election for him (again) and everything goes perfectly and he loses, do you really expect him and his cronies to just up leave?
I’m scared.
The world is past the 1.5 degree tipping point, governments around the world are listening to oil and tech billionaires over scientists, there are idiots in office all over the world starting wars ( Trump, Putin, etc.) and yet people STILL won’t accept it’s time for more than protests.
This will shock absolutely no one, but today on Meet the Press, Attorney General Todd Blanche refused to pledge that he would always act independently of the White House. The Justice Department has already pursued investigations or prosecutions involving a growing list of Trump’s political
Dear Fellow Americans,
We're paying more for fossil fuels, gasoline-powered cars, electricity, and bad investments than the rest of the world because they're all building renewable energy systems and industries.
We're not, because the fossil-fuel industry owns our politicians.
To all the military personnel who are being mistreated by this government:
You realize you don’t have to follow illegal orders, yeah? Like you have numbers and weapons.
Trump is now accusing the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the nonprofit suing his administration over the White House ballroom project, of revealing “Top Military Secrets” in its lawsuit.
They really are the Gestapo, and they just keep escalating their use of force. The Department of Homeland Security is now moving to equip ICE officers with gloves capable of delivering electrical shocks.
Todd Blanche: “I am not sure of the uproar of having a Border Patrol or ICE agent at a polling location. What's the risk?”
Uhm, maybe because it’s illegal?
Federal statute 18 U.S.C. § 592 prohibits deploying “troops or armed men” to locations where elections are held.
An AG should know this.
Reminder to vote tomorrow in South Carolina, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Vermont, and Alabama! And thank you in advance to everyone heading to the polls and to all the poll workers!
No lawsuit. No judge. No injunction.
Just Texans who gave up a Tuesday, sat through seven hours, and refused to leave.
This is the model for the next 89 days.

Some good news! Senators Adam Schiff and Sheldon Whitehouse have introduced a Congressional Review Act resolution to overturn the Trump administration’s rule that removed habitat destruction from the definition of “harm” under the Endangered Species Act.
I stand with Dr. Anthony Fauci
…because I value EVIDENCE over conspiracy, DATA over rumors, and SCIENCE over politics.
No public official is beyond criticism, but there’s a difference between honest scientific guidance and misinformation.
I’ll choose evidence EVERY time.

The public needs to know who is doing what when important decisions are made inside these buildings and departments.
It’s the only way anyone can ever be held accountable.
