The United States has frozen or blocked roughly $5 billion in Russian sovereign assets, alongside over $30 billion in private wealth and assets. I expect Trump is negotiating those with Putin right now. Unblocking them and getting a cut. One half, one quarter - who knows?

Every move Trump has made in the last few days is purely anti-Ukrainian. It's not a negotiation and it has nothing to do with energy prices, with a peace process, or with Zelensky's attitude.

🇺🇸🇺🇦🚀 Zelensky: Can you give me missiles for Patriot? Because when I don't attack them, because you asked me, they will attack me. It's fair if you give me something with which to defend myself. That's the minimum I'm asking for. And when I'm asking this, your answer is blocking Starlink.

Fun fact: When Trump became the presumptive GOP nominee in 2024, he started forming dozens of new companies to profit off the presidency. Since that moment, he's formed at least 76 new companies. He's created at least 36, that we know of, just since taking office. He made $2.2 billion in 2025.

Many people have a wrong idea about what US intelligence sharing with Ukraine is. In reality it's largely early warnings about air strikes so Ukrainians can seek shelter. This requires US satellites. But it looks like Trump might have instructed his military to stop giving Ukrainians that warning.

For the second evening in a row, Zelensky says Ukraine received no warning from Western partners before Russia launched ballistic missiles at Kyiv. Tuesday’s strike hit a key energy facility and damaged a residential building, he said. meduza.io/en/news/2026...

I used to wonder if European countries + Canada would cancel orders for the F35 due to concerns that the USA would one day refuse to ship spare parts. But maybe they'll just stop buying F35 over concerns that Lockheed + the USA government are too incompetent to be able to reliably ship spare parts.
