I watched a TikTok recently (that I cannot find now to offer credit, pls let me know if you know) that said “Loud engines in vehicles is an extension of rape culture” and now that flashes in my head every time I am deafened by someone going by. Once seen, it cannot be unseen.

Rewatching Project Runway and being positively agog at the sexism, racism, and abhorrent behavior reminds me of how much I have learned and have grown. I recommend rewatching your old loves. If they don’t shock you, either *they* were spectacularly beyond their times, or *you* are stuck back there.
