you’re nuts if you’re not using adguard or pihole or something tbqh, as well as using separate subnets for these things. my samsung has the second most blocked requests second only to a windows gaming PC lol. not even the cheap IoT devices compare

I was kind of interested in the HomeView to replace my last Sonos speaker in my kitchen. I was hoping it would run iPad apps, not CarPlay, so I could use Paprika, a recipe manager (for example) in the kitchen. Not going to be an early adopter on this one until the app situation is sorted.

It's a bafflingly analog process to be given permission to develop for CarPlay, and the HomeView relies on that entitlement. Apple needs to simplify HomeView app approval so developers aren't stuck working through a process designed for cars.

Warner Brothers has a very good track record of putting out 4K Blu-Ray movies, especially older releases. Paramount does not. This just makes me sad because I already know which direction they’ll go with the merger now complete.

These are great boards with a ton of uses, and super easy to fit into an enclosure. Simple to code in CircuitPython & easy to remotely contol over HTTP. Pick up a few.

I’ve decided to bring back some popular products to the shop. PixelLeaf has always been a popular product due to its size and density. I’ll be working on getting some made and in the shop :) www.tindie.com/products/oak...

Holy shit I just won tickets to see Sugar at First Avenue on September 11th. Anyone have recommendations for concert ear plugs?
