Three years ago, my dad said that all fish are the same shape. Out of spite, I decided to draw all 478 families of bony fish listed in Nelson 2016. There's still some stuff I need to edit and some fish I want to redraw but, after 985 days, I finished my big dumb fish project last night.

Seems like a good day for a nationwide ad that ties Trump’s support for raping children to the Epstein files and urges voters to contact their local Republican House/ Senate candidate to ask them whether they agree with Trump.

Trump doubles down on the Vivek ad

And they should give him a nice watch and send him off into a lovely retirement and let that nice lady from NYC 14 be the new Senator from the Empire state.

The start of the Obama admin is as far from today as the first Gulf War was for them. The start of the Clinton admin is as far from today as the last days of Eisenhower were for them. The start of the Reagan admin is as far from today as the Berlin Olympics were for them.

And WorldCom becomes MCI

BAIER: The president says 'SI.' Are you into SI or AI? BEZOS: I do like SI, because 'artificial' is not a very flattering thing. Like, nobody wants an artificial sweetener, artificial flavoring.

@adamsmith.house.gov just reading the TPM piece on Chris Rufo and "The Indian Question" and wondering if you have any comments you'd lke to share with those of us in your district about why you met with Rufo and what if any thing you've learned since?

And @adamsmith.house.gov that New Yorker article. You know the one where you showed how off your political instincts were in the wake of 2024 and that could have got you crushed in primary had one of the local heavyweights instead of Sawant been your main threat.

newyorker.comThe Not-Quite-Anti-Woke CaucusDemocratic members of Congress are fed up with their party’s discourse on identity, but they can’t get on board with Donald Trump’s campaign to destroy D.E.I.

This is an excellent little thread.

Realizing the extent to which this is true wildly changed my opinions about how to deal with Trumpism, since they're never going to be satisfied unless they're actively dominating everyone else. You can't give them some concessions and go back to the status quo: they're reactionary revolutionaries.
