My boss stopped engineering years ago to takeover management roles, but recently he's been proud of the feature he wrote using claude. Nobody has told him that I've been pulling my hair out fixing it over the past 3 days

We also have a deadline on a certain project coming up in 3 weeks that we know we're behind on. I was asked to put unpaid overtime on it. And that will become a demand because they will not let me get a single hour of work day time on it

besides the final jank, my updated demo with localization will be out for steam next on monday!! and then in less than a month the full thing is out. after this im not sure whats next. i might take some courses on unreal 🤔

i finally simply placed all the nodes into my game's skill tree. now i need to assign them unlock values and parent-child relationships. i hate making skill trees holy shit lmao

in future games i might opt for a true talent system with easy refunding. gameplay-wise it's way more interesting, and i could probably make it pretty dang clean
