Just finished re-reading all the earlier murderbot books so I could read Platform Decay by @marthawells.com and (a) I loved it but (b) the beginning of the acknowledgements makes me want to send good thoughts to her. Here's hoping next year is better. Emotion check: not sure at this time.

I feel like what they _should_ be doing is betting against their candidate. You don't spend a bunch of money to buy a politician and then also place a bet that they'll win. You're already placing that bet. Bet against them to hedge your position sheesh. This is sarcasm ftr.
