We need a government of YNs. They would meet this moment with the force and clarity it requires.

if we staff ICE with Uvalde police officers, they'll never enter schools

Consider this: If we spent less time on ad-supported social media platforms, we would spend less time overall thinking about commerce. On reflection, it's remarkable how much of my daily attention is steered toward shopping when I use Meta apps. I didn't realize that until relatively recently.

a gentle reminder that this also an art page. the majority of my work features black women:

Use your excitement and relief to help a Palestinian in Gaza today - share their fundraisers, donate, use this energy to help them survive. They have a long road ahead.

Journalist Anas Al-Sharif removes his helmet and announces a ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel. His voice steady as his fellow Palestinians lift him into the air in celebration. For 15 months, the Al-Jazeera correspondent has reported on the genocide of his people in Gaza.

Image of the day is *Vine Face*, an in-camera #doubleexposure on @ilfordphoto 🎞️ FP4+ film. I don't do many of these leaf double exposures these days, but boy do I like this one! Swipe for the negative. #believeinfilm #experimental #monochrome #photography

Wooh!

There are many legitimate uses for AI in the arts, such as smart selection tools and background erasers- these tools have been available for many years already. There is no place for GENERATIVE AI in the arts. Important distinction.

These extraordinary photos of the LA fires have been shared widely on social media, often without crediting the photographer. These are all the work of Ethan Swope, an LA-based photojournalist working for AP. You can follow his remarkable reporting here👇 www.instagram.com/ethanswopeph...

Severance should be as big as the office or game of thrones.

Knicks really need to develop their bench and give them more minutes. The starters all having 40+ minutes is too much.
