The central thesis of R Scott's DAVID Saga is humanity has become very arrogant & thus very stupid. Humans being idiots in the movies is a feature. Not a flaw. (Of course the endpoint of the saga is David, the human-hating Ai, engineering his own destruction by those same, very human, flaws)

WILDWOOD is so respectful of the audience - this battle is fun & thrilling yet also violent & haunting & characters you love die & lose their innocence - that you exit the theater disappointed, maybe even disgusted, by how corporate and trite all other American theatrical animation is.

I think GUNDAM WING is one of the weakest Gundams I've seen. But Lady Une.... Lady Une is Top 3 as far as Gundam characters go.
