I made delicious chili. I had it for lunch. I had a lovely salad for dinner. But I crave pizza. I have craved pizza for almost a full week, now. But every time I try to acquire pizza, something goes wrong. Deliveries got cancelled twice. I went to the store for pizza...and forgot. Pizza hates me.

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

I had the most bizarre dream last night, even for my energetic dreaming cycle. I was driving and got lost, ended up pulling over and walking through a little garden. Ran into a guy outside a fancy restaurant where the host had just been fired and was sarcastically trying to sell the food.

As I prepared to feed the debris into the crush room, the guy I'd been dining with burst through the door, without pants. He was very worried about where I'd gone, and I was concerned about his lack of pants. The former host had been rehired by the restaurant because everyone was losing their mind.

I kept trying to figure out how the guy lost his pants, and he refused to say anything about it, but did say that we should at least try the nectared pears. They were delicious.

The guy got up to go to the restroom, and our server dropped a hot pan and broke everything, then burst into tears. I comforted her, and she asked me to take the debris to the "crush room". Even the silverware and the plates. So, off I went to find the "crush room".

The back end of the restaurant was labyrinthine, and everywhere I looked, the employees were crying and shellshocked. No one knew where the crush room was. Eventually, I found tiny, tiny signs that led me to the steaming, hellish kitchens, and the crush room. Which, indeed, crushed things.

For some reason, I and this guy decided it'd be fun to eat there, ironically. And we invited the host so he could stick it to his former employees by being a customer. The restaurant was very fancy and very expensive--fifty dollars for a "nectared pear" appetizer. And everyone was very stressed.

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

North Mist Studios is a collection of former BioWare video game developers, including senior narrative team members behind the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series. Now, we're working on a brand new title: The Concierge, a story of Canadian Assassins in a Spy-Thriller Office Drama.

Okay. At no point is it advisable to leave off my chapter writing until 11PM of the day before it's scheduled to go out. On the other hand, the sensation of writing 3300 words I like in two hours with a glorious sensation of flow is very addictive.

Alright, here we go.. Voidlight is available in print! A little over a year ago, I was out of a job and had some time off, and I got inspired to create a dark sci-fi universe. What started as almost a game on a napkin grew to 16 pages, then 90+.
