Dark Arisen 2 feels like a very long deep apology for the base game working through if it's a good thing or not. Base DD2 was such it's own thing in it's old school design choices but it was trapped by expectations of modern audiences. Nothing in the DLC hits as hard as the unmoored world reveal.

Probably the coolest thing he's done next to being a potential Bomberman fan

Not allowing to put all of Kara no Kyoukai as the whole series was pretty annoying but the rest are always things I can recommend and the only two that are long is Yu yu and Slayers but compared to other longer shows? They are a breeze

One of the greatest line reads of all time. Tim Curry for Command And Conquer, clearly it was a one and done and he could barely stop laughing at the ridiculousness of the line. Perfection

Asian action genres like tokusatsu, kaiju, martial arts are seen as "cheap" "low budget" genres (they are)! But even a multibillion company falters at "doing it themselves" because what enables these productions isn't a quantifiable resource you can put on an Excel spreadsheet, but "skill" & "craft"

Deadline has reported that Disney+ and 20th Century TV have canceled their planned live-action Power Rangers series.

I see it's that time of the year where the "Dark Souls 2 is actually good" discussion has come up again. Elden Ring's release and reception can't be thanked enough for turning people's opinions around on that game since a large part of it's design can be traced back to DS2.

I have never been that high on DS2 it's mostly a fine game but it's the most bloated stat game of the series and combat is ok at best. But scholar is simply just a worse version showing off the worst parts of the base game design.

Had alot of fun with the tokon demo, Magneto was the one I enjoyed the most at point on a team. Backed up by Spider-Man (His combos are a thing but its spidey), Magick (Big dumb sword and devil trigger) and Black Panther (Fun movement options and best assault assist for Mag)

My interactions with Gundam since 00 (Didn't watch the movie no need) has been via SRW games and the first season of G-Witch (Which I enjoyed). Hope whatever comes next is good but its hard since there are so many other things I can watch, read or play instead of worrying about a cash cow.

Sam Neill should have won an Oscar for this “help I’m being attacked by an invisible Chevy Chase” scene with a stupid looking plastic gun taped to the side of his head

Such a short yet impactful part of the DBZ series. The History of Trunks is my favorite special. I had to redraw my previous piece to try and do this special justice. #futuretrunks #dragonballz #historyoftrunks

Termination without cause in Japan is complex and workers have a lot of rights and protections we don't in the US. If Japan had employment laws as weak as ours, Nintendo would undoubtedly lay off workers just the same. It's not management's benevolence or farsightedness, it's labor law.

You know what Nintendo does when they have a surplus set of devs from cancellations or production ending? Put them on other projects. The ability to redeploy headcount while keeping teams together over time is like, the main strategic benefit of scale in the game industry

ArcSys having a game in purgatory then releasing a new character years after is a funny bit at this point first DBFZ then Blazblue Centralfiction a game released almost 10 years ago and hasn't had a game in the series since. Wait I am getting news there was rougelike and mobile game since CF.

I truly believe Jon Moxley is the ultimate litmus test for whether you get pro wrestling. He does ALL the thing all the old timers beg of wrestling but because he actually weaves them into his wrestling in an organic way rather than in a community theatre way, they don't get him.
