The people organized and came out to defeat the far right in Brazil. This election is an incredible example of how grassroots democratic action can beat the oligarchs, the tech bros and the far right. I love the Swifties for Lula youth contingent.

Alas, the most noxious of the anti-immigrant referendum questions did pass, albeit by the most narrow of margins. But I am proud that every single referendum question failed in Edmonton. Every single one, in every single riding. Edmontonians understood the assignment. And they said no. And no again.
