Will anyone—anyone at all—ask Trump about the rape allegations published in an official report by the House Judiciary Democrats? Or will he continue to escape accountability for his violence?

This is why it's dangerous to give rich people so much power over our lives. Sometimes, they are appallingly ignorant. The Nazis added the word "socialist" to their name purely as propaganda to appeal more to workers. But the party--and Hitler--hated real socialists and communists.

REMINDER: Mitch McConnell hasn’t been seen or heard from in now 73 days. Yet he still: •Has his job •Gets paid, and •Gets free world-class healthcare The man who voted against a living wage, against universal healthcare, & against guaranteed paid leave—gets all three as he needs it most.😐

Just posting this because, as of yesterday, the US national debt surpassed $40 trillion for the first time. The GOP: the party of fiscal responsibility. 🥴

I know you're not allowed to say this during the current debate, but the reason the left dominates academics, art, comedy, and music is that the right has stupid, discredited ideas, they're not funny, and dull resentment does not make for good art. No grand conspiracy required.

This is immediate impeachment-and-removal behavior for any other president and all involved cabinet secretaries (who, in any other administration, would have already resigned in disgrace)

Susan Collins voted for $70 billion in ICE funding just before an ICE agent gunned down a young immigrant father in Maine. Collins also voted against an amendment requiring bodycams. These votes will now be hung around her neck, Dems in the state tell me. New piece: newrepublic.com/article/2133...

newrepublic.comTrump Badly Screws Susan Collins as Maine ICE Death Takes Darker TurnCollins cast some recent votes that can help likely Democratic challenger Troy Jackson tie her to Trump and to ICE. And there’s evidence that both liberals and moderates will listen.

i'll hazard a take on this: we shouldn't frame women outearning men as a problem the issue is that as earnings equalise, other ways of contributing to relationships (cleaning, care, planning) aren't

This is not true. Every locality has a Democratic Party organization, with activities and regular meetings. You can go to them. You can participate.

Feild@feild.work

There's nothing to "join" in the Democratic Party. It's a brand with products I spend my vote on once a year at the democracy store. Most people's experience of it is an endless stream of texts that read like scams, their reward for donating or signing a petition. No wonder DSA is growing

Please consider reposting this - this is the group of parasites that are still getting paid though McConnell hasn't been in the Senate in over a month. Very likely they are committing fraud by hiding his likely death from taxpayers.

The number of nominally Democratic commentators who want to effectively give the GOP another Senate vote -- who are *furious* at Beshear for NOT giving the GOP that vote -- bc something something "fighting" is mind-blowing. It is the apex of a truly toxic brainrot that is going to destroy us all.

Adam Cohen (My Personal Views Only)@axidentaliberal.bsky.social

It’s been over a week since @govandybeshear.bsky.social called on Mitch McConnell to disclose the state of his health There has been no credible, transparent response Beshear should call a #KYSpecialElection Anybody who has a problem with that should talk to Supreme Court Justice Merrick Garland

The fact that VP JD Vance and Richard Grenell went to Romania—on behalf of the Trump Administration— to advocate for Andrew and Tristan Tate, who by all accounts, were rapists running a coercive sex ring, then permitted them to come to Florida, should be a crazy, crazy scandal.

rfc19129.bsky.social reposted

Hey, look at Substack promoting Andrew Tate as the #1 new bestseller. The company's amoral leadership & backers will platform anyone, even ludicrously toxic rapists & human traffickers.

I like Mamdani. He seems to be doing a good job But FFS people, he’s not FDR, probably not even LaGuardia. He won a Dem primary vs a sex pest & a crook. And other than broad (even banal) lessons like “be a good communicator” or “build coalitions” he’s not a model for candidates in Trump+2 districts

I'm never going to get over the fact that the president of the United States paid a woman more than $5 million after a jury found him liable for raping her. And he's still president. And people still support him. Never. Get. Over. It.

How’s about we talk about how Graham worked to strip women of their bodily autonomy & right to vote? Or let’s talk about how the man with no children demanded that families send their children to Iran to fight a war that Trump promised to never get us in to! Sorry, there’s no peace for the evil.
