Seems like a nice place to follow what your city is doing!

Mike@mikenikles.com

Things that happen when you talk about your projects publicly... I had six municipalities reach out to me to ask if they could use civic-lens.ca to publish their agendas, minutes, and videos 😊. Instead of tracing the municipal record to source, what if Civic Lens IS the municipal record source?!

Kenney Solitaire is now also downloadable for Windows & Linux, completely free 🎁 It also now features a tutorial so if you're unsure about the rules of solitaire, don't be afraid to check it out! kenney.itch.io/kenney-solit...

Looking for help -> I remember seeing a post of someone who made a RSVP or calendar and storing all the info in the URL only (no backend, no localstorage, etc). I think it was more a proof of concept or something. Anyone know who posted that?

As much as I love @valvesoftware.com , loot boxes and gambling in games should be considered as they are.. GAMBLING. Hopefully it will lead to something that will affect other company and not just Valve, but we'll see..

SteamDB@steamdb.info

New York Attorney General has sued Valve, alleging that loot boxes in CS2, TF2, and Dota 2 violate New York's gambling laws.

I know it probably depend on where you are, but if you stole something that the person already stole, can you be charge for that 😅 ?

Oh noooo, the company that extracted our data for their models is having others extracting data for their models

Under the Island is FINALLY OUT! After more than 7 years of development, the journey comes to life today ♥️. Huge thank you to everyone who supported the game along the way! Enjoy the Launch Trailer Shop Links in the comments 👇

A 24 mins video about bts of a hockey game? Yes please! We are so used to replay on the spot and all that we forget how insane all of this as to work together in sync. Even if you're only a hockey fan and not a tech person, that video is still worth a watch!!

Take an extensive behind-the-scenes tour of a digital SMPTE 2110 production truck at a @StLouisBlues hockey game in today's video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ar4...

@tailscale.com is awesome! But be warned.. when you start, you can't stop adding stuff to it haha!

This is how I host my dev process on my Mac Mini and work on it from my phone, computer, anything. No crappy mobile terminal apps, just Tailscale, Zed & OpenCode. This is also how I host my personal OpenClaw UI without having to use Discord/WhatsApp www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0sE...

Same game, but 50% cheaper than the lowest Steam prince on iOS app store? Is that something normal? I've never compare game price on iOS vs PC before 🤷‍♂️

Richard Berube@richardberube.dev

Wow that's a low price! (12$ CAD) I'm waiting to buy it on Steam, but that is more than 50% off the lowest price on Steam !? I wouldn't mind getting that price too to play on my Steamdeck 👀😅

What people create is amazing sometimes!

Josh W. Comeau@joshwcomeau.com

Well this is remarkable. 😮 Someone built a 3D voxel engine using plain ol’ DOM nodes, no canvas/webgl. And it’s surprisingly performant, since it culls any faces that aren’t currently visible. Repo: github.com/LayoutitStud... There’s even a nifty lil’ editor!

While I understand what IGA did here, does this apply to code as well? People seems to only freakout for visual stuff, but how many studio used ChatGPT/Cursor/etc for code ? I barely use AI in my day to day (even when coding) but I feel there's a double standard with visual vs code regarding AI

This post is unavailable.

Will we need to go back to IE to be sure to not have AI stuff in our browser? No I don’t want a Chrome based browser, but it’s getting harder and harder by the day 😬

Bloging not really for anyone, though everyone will be welcome, but more to keep track and demonstrate to future me that progress was made! Thanks for the inspiration Kevin!

I like @proton.me stuff, but not a fan of showing "50%" off when you compare your price of 1 month at regular price vs 12 month price + promo. It would be the same as if groceries would say 75%* off of 12 can of soda.. *compare to vending machine price At least the price is all listed, but still

Never fully trust corp. They have their best interest in mind, not yours. That doesn't mean to not work for them, but just to be aware to not being catch off guard!

I'm not sure where I land between funny or sad.. but those are good example by @w3cj.com that AI should NOT be the first tool to reach for. Or at least, ask the AI for already proven solution to a problem instead of relying on it to do a sometime sloppy job

CJ@w3cj.com

Some devs are leaning a bit too hard on AI for solutions and workflow. In my latest video I show a few examples and give some advice on what to do / use instead. Watch 🍿 www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVBK...
