If a major vulnerability alert (which is a good thing in the long run) and some data breaches constitute “Black October” in cyberspace, what will the reaction be like if something very bad but entirely precedented like NotPetya, WannaCry or the ransomware crisis of 2021 actually happens?

Even for a country hardened by street insurrection, the events at the weekend were shocking. The context for the riots is the underlying tension linked to France’s election next year bit.ly/4sc9pGh Photo: AFP via Getty Images

People who claim Russia should be appeased in case we use nukes never explain why they think the world is a better place now the use of nuclear blackmail is a legitimate tool of statecraft. They never even stop to ponder the question. /

I’m sorry to have to be the bad guy here but we need to recognize that we live in a compressed air thrusters world now. If you’re not finding ways to teach the critical use of compressed air thrusters in your classroom, you’re setting your students up to fail when you could be setting them up to fly

What we are seeing here is a Trump-Musk pass the sh!t show game. Look, Musk does not do this without Trump--that is just the reality. Trump wanted this, Musk was happy to oblige. However to blame Musk is a sign of how panicked the administration is (which is a good thing).

⚡️️️️️️️Musk suggested Trump restrict Ukraine's Starlink service, Telegraph reports. Four sources familiar with the discussion said that Elon Musk approached U.S. President Donald Trump with the idea of slowing down Ukraine's Starlink service on the battlefield.

Dear tv and radio producers. Thankyou for the invitation. But, no, I do not want to appear on your show to defend the idea that I am English, after 50 years of living and working here, because the increasingly feral right want to turn this into a "debate" and you cannot see how you're being played

All very normal in a functioning democracy

Well, yes. But Gerstner (the venture capitalist with attendees regret) and Michael Dell were presumably there because they've been advocating for child trust funds and they've got mugged off as the President decides to talk about something else.
