This summer, more than 15,000 Alberta NDP volunteers have engaged with Albertans, and clearly people are ready for change. Albertans deserve a government that puts them first, and the Alberta NDP is ready to deliver.
Together we saved Canada, now it's time to save Alberta!
youtu.be/eJBI7F5i1L4?...
Today is the day, Alberta! Get out and make your voice heard, and most importantly, help save Canada. I urge you to vote in the best interests of all Albertans. Vote Option 1 on Question 10 and NO to the other 9 questions.
Canada today, Canada tomorrow, Canada forever! 🇨🇦
The separatists are going to lose today’s vote. But if Alberta’s political class doesn’t stop feeding and inflaming their bottomless sense of grievance and victimhood, we’ll all end up losing in the end. #abpoliwww.nationalobserver.com/2026/10/19/o...
Dear Alberta,
Advance voting Oct 13 to 17. 🗳️
Don't let hateful & stigmatizing lies shape Alberta policy. ⚠️
Stay in Canada. NO TO THE NINE‼️

Prime Minister Mark Carney has a message for Albertans ahead of October 19.
Our future is stronger together, as Albertans and Canadians. Let's keep it that way.
Stay in Canada. No to the Nine.

On Day 2 of advanced voting for the referendum, let’s talk immigration.
Last weekend, I was in Brooks - the most multicultural community in Alberta. Their MLA? Danielle Smith.
And I have to wonder, when it comes to her questions blaming immigrants for ER wait times & crowded schools… 1/2 #abpoli
Contrary to claims circulating online, Friday’s council meeting on infill is, and has always been, open to the public.
I invite all Edmontonians to join us in person at City Hall, or watch Council live here: www.edmonton.ca/city_governm...
C'mon, Keith. *How* did Norway turn its oil reserves into "extraordinary national wealth"?
*Public ownership of oil companies
*78 per cent profit tax on oil companies
*25 per cent sales tax economy-wide so the oil revenues could be saved
These are not serious people. #abpoli
Should Danielle Smith be able to order your local council to vote to approve rezoning for a massive AI data centre? And threaten to fire your democratically elected mayor if they vote against it? This latest provincial overreach isn't about density. It's about your legal right to a fair hearing.
With the latest provincial overreach, Danielle Smith is now ordering me how to vote at Calgary City Council. If I refuse, I risk losing my job. I want to work constructively with the province, even when we disagree. But we must be free to listen to residents and make fair decisions.
Take 10 minutes to listen to Alberta Senator Paula Simons' denunciation of the UCP's racist anti-immigrant referendum questions. It's a tour de force. www.youtube.com/watch?v=to7o...
I expect disagreements in politics, but what’s frustrating is seeing the Province continue to share blatantly false information when the City has already provided the facts.
This morning, I sat down with Ryan Jespersen to address these claims directly. @ryanjespersen.bsky.social
Danielle Smith's referendum is bad for business. The Calgary Chamber's own survey shows members expect more harm than good from her immigration questions.
Alberta needs workers, not more barriers.
Stay in Canada. No to the Nine.

HEY ALBERTANS!
The referendum ain't over yet. 2 weeks to go.
We need to push things over the line.
Polling says we may have the seperation question in hand, but still outstanding are the anti-immigrant, anti-constitutional qs.
Donate now to make the change Alberta needs!

Now Elon Musk is calling for Alberta to separate from Canada.
We don’t need the opinions of any more of Trump’s allies. We already have one as Premier.
10 referendum questions, one clear choice.
Vote to Stay in Canada and say No to the Nine.
On October 19, vote with Alberta’s Voice.

Alberta separation could hammer Calgary families with $5,500 more in taxes plus $5,500 less in income for a typical worker. Talk to your neighbours and get involved. Calgary cannot afford to sit this one out.
Are you skeptical of the Smith government's claims that immigrants are to blame for their own mismanagement of our social, health, and education systems?
You should be. Check out this website to educate and equip yourself to fight back in this fall's referendum.

Bruce McAllister is a senior advisor to Alberta's premier. He hosted the anti-immigrant Alberta Next Panels. He attacked Senator Paula Simons for calling out the racist referendum questions. Now he's openly supporting an extremist white nationalist party's racist anti-immigration policy.
Max Fawcett: "She consistently has told Albertans that 'you have a right to be angry...with British Columbians, you have a right to be angry with Ontarions, you have a right to be angry with anyone in *this* country, but you don't have a right to be angry at Trump or the Americans."
Danielle Smith is holding this referendum to save her political skin.
We need to send an overwhelming message to both Smith and the White House by voting Yes to Canada on October 19.
Tell Danielle Smith that we stand united for Canada: albertandpcaucus.ca/voteforcanada

We know Smith isn't very smart and is a MAGA separatist. My question, is Moe dumber than any other politician in Canada or is Smith and Moe equally stupid?
I've never understood the argument that separating from Canada would make Alberta more independent.
Especially now.
With the United States openly using its economic power against Canada, leaving Canada would make Alberta more dependent on the Americans, not less.
Stay in Canada. No to the Nine.
I as an Albertan think that energy is a tool that should be used to defend Canada and Smith and her separatists can go pound sand. Smith and the UCP DO NOT speak for me.
Canada is only as strong as our weakest link.
We need to stand shoulder to shoulder with all our fellow Canadians, to protect Canadian families, to protect Canadian jobs, and, most important, to protect Canadian sovereignty and to protect Canada.
"Most of Canada's premiers are standing behind Carney's decision to walk away from the deal, with the exception of Alberta Premier Danielle Smith who said she wants to see the two countries resume negotiations".
Just Smith showing her separatists self
First it was "we're leaving."
Then it was "send Ottawa a message" and "let Alberta decide."
Now it's "just give us some leverage when we end up staying."
At this rate, by Referendum Day, the separatists' pitch will be "help us save face."
Federalists need to show up in numbers to force retreat.
A few thoughts from one of my favorite places on how it shaped me, on who we are as Albertans & Canadians and why, in October, I’ll be voting to remain in Canada and no to the other nine. #abpoli
Danielle Smith is actually defending this racist banner?
That won’t repair relationships with First Nations or help get major projects built.
No wonder Chiefs unanimously voted non-confidence in Smith and the UCP.
Pop quiz:
If a project relies overwhelmingly on public money, but one company might eventually own 10% through a non-binding agreement, is it really "privately financed"? 🤔
Our Executive Director, Chris Severson-Baker, breaks it down ⬇️
If the purpose of Danielle Smith's year of anti immigrant rhetoric, embodied in her noxious nine referendum questions, to scare immigrants away, it appears to be working. And without immigrant talent, investment and skills, Alberta's economy and culture will suffer.
