Finally. Mother Talzin, Savage Oppress, & Nightsister Acolytes for Star Wars #Shatterpoint. Not sure why it was such a slog to get through these 4, on to more stuff and maybe a new project.

The argument for taxing the rich harder is about paying for social support systems, yes, but its utility in democracy is limiting the amount of power that any one individual can wield over the rest of us

I do not think an exec branch led by a man who thinks he is entitled to treat federal agents as an arm of his firm, refers to Somali Americans as “garbage” and has said racist things specifically about Omar is capable of neutrally applying the law to her, to put it mildly apnews.com/article/ilha...

Hulk smash! Got Hulk done for MCP. It was more of a challenge than I originally expected. Lots of big sections of green and this is one of their earlier sculpts so the muscles aren’t as defined as the later Immortal Hulk. I also need to replace my workhorse brushes so that didn’t help. #nerdlings

Finished the next of the Cruisers team for #Gaslands.

Spoiler alert: to the extent the federal voucher program could help public schools at all, the federal voucher dollars will mostly end up in wealthy communities who don’t need more resources! Gov. Pritzker should keep Illinois out of this program. NEW report with Institute for the Public Good:

@owolf.bsky.social tells me it’s Friday and I believe him. Why would he lie? Anyway, this week the theme is…wet. So let’s see liquids, blood, gore, and so on. As usual I’ll repost the lot and if you like something, share it! #Nerdlings #FindFolkFriday

Not entirely sure what game system I kitbashed this #thelastofus inspired zombie for but I’m open to suggestions. #zombie #kitbash #kitbashing #wargamesminiature

Trying to decide on colors for the Cruisers team. I ordered some Sinclair logo decals for the tanker, but I don't know how much that will influence the color scheme. #Gaslands

Bloody hell. #Orktober is upon us and I've no idea what to do for an Ork project. I have no minis and I've already gone to the #Gaslands well last year.

I finally made myself finish this Mustang for #Gaslands. It's not very interesting, but 1990s Mustangs are probably the most boring outside of the 1980s ones.

Gaslands is fun yo

At our Legacy Museum, visitors can see 800 jars of soil collected from lynching sites across the country. Part of our Community Remembrance Project, the jars provide a tangible way for communities and Museum visitors to confront the legacy of racial terror lynchings.

The one good thing Pants Shitler 🍊 has done is establish the precedent that no matter what legacy he tries to build the next person elected can literally bulldoze all of it with zero repercussions. We will erase any monument he tries to build to himself.

#lanterns mid-season arc closer was better than most series' season finales. Incredible hour of television. This show definitely lives by the fair play style of mystery writing. Everything you need to know is always right there on the screen and it's up to you to put it together.

No living being has had more songs sung and parodies written about than than our dog Gimli.
