Well this is one way to describe the jump shooting in this series.

First half score: Valkyries <redacted>, Dream <redacted>

So here's the news. I have accepted a position with the Los Angeles Sparks' front office. I am excited beyond adequate words, really. I had to say a proper goodbye to my public work, and specifically to NetsDaily, though trust that I could not say it all: www.netsdaily.com/site-news/11...

The Minnesota Star-Tribune is taking applications for a sports reporting summer 2027 internship. Apply by Nov. 13. www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/44...

you knew the moment the semifinals started that game 3/4/6 days needed to be open at either Barclays or State Farm -- how did it not get addressed until three days out?

is this going to be a camp game? are we inviting local ATL schools to Game 6?

how in the world could the NBA not move a hawks/cavs regular season game to another date? you have until April to make that game up

Sure, he can say this sort of thing as a candidate in a safe, blue, hippy state like Kansas...

Glad @johnhollinger.bsky.social took the time to discuss something I’ve been thinking about for awhile. www.nytimes.com/athletic/772...

How are we not getting a replay of that swing

Inconceivable. What a turn since the World Cup break.

About to go live with @anniecostabile.bsky.social about her story with Brian Hamilton on the Fever and all the fallout that has happened since youtube.com/live/ctOKhG3...

Another one. The premise: Young people are cutting off their parents for minor mistakes and misunderstandings. The lead anecdote: A woman severs ties with her family for refusing to get vaccinated before her wedding — to a man who *lost his mother and brother to COVID*

Jim Nantz trying to "Peanut Punch" a football out of J.J. Watt's hands is incredible live television. 🏈🥊🎙️😂

who should the chargers be drafting at no. 1?

The way I would frame the question is this: “how many children and innocent people will we sacrifice at the altar of a misinterpreted second amendment.”

Allisha Gray available for Game 1 of the Finals after missing most of the semis with a hand injury.

Lots of great stuff at @theathletic.com ahead of Game 1 of the WNBA Finals today. Hard to beat the anecdote leading off this Gabby Williams story from Marcus Thompson. www.nytimes.com/athletic/769...

you will see this Max Muncy quote several places, on the Dodgers trailing the Brewers 3 games to none: "It's a pretty simple answer. We're playing like shit, and they're playing great. No reason to overcomplicate it."

I love taking the train between San Diego and Los Angeles since it's such a gorgeous view but there's just no way it'll still exist on the same track a generation from now. www.instagram.com/reels/DeSCAh...

On Angel Reese just needing an opportunity to prove to everyone else what she already knew. Loved this from Chantel. www.nytimes.com/athletic/767...

Late to it, but I really loved the idea behind this story, and the way @rustindodd.bsky.social framed it and executed it. Just delightful. www.nytimes.com/athletic/757...

An important Bijan Robinson fact is that I asked him at his draft what show he was binge watching and he said THE MARVELOUS MS MAISEL. I think of this often.

This is a community note for the ages.
