My grandfather, Roman Anthony “Slim” Sarwark, founded Sarwark Motor Sales back in 1942 in Phoenix. Son of Polish immigrants, Roman moved to Phoenix from Indiana because it was better than living in a tuberculosis sanitarium and waiting to die in an institution. He married Ruth Van de Beuken.

How is evidence of Trump being "in on" a "CONSPIRACY TO ABUSE AND TRAFFIC WOMEN," WITH JEFFREY EPSTEIN, not screaming front-page news everywhere?? NEW, CREDIBLE RAPE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST TRUMP. TODD BLANCHE WITNESS TAMPERING. WHAT.

🚨 A bombshell new House Judiciary Democrats report details allegations from 11 women linking Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, including five who accuse Trump of sexual assault. The report also alleges a sweeping DOJ cover-up. We broke down the explosive findings.

I’m convinced the concentration of wealth has made markets more a reflection of the desires and beliefs of a tiny sliver of the world’s wealthiest rather than actual business information.

the markets have essentially become a gauge for how much corruption the government in power is going to let the business class get away with

This is what I meant when I said in 2024 that when I looked at the incoming administration, all I could see was rape. It’s the heinous act itself, yes, but also a mentality, as deftly explained here:

You can't expect the New York Times to give any attention to a story about the president being credibly accused of violent rape when the story breaks so close to an election. It's not like we're talking about something *really* important, like email security protocols.

Healy has already told Mark Jacob that the nyt is reluctant to say Trump lies. Its unwillingness to to use the word rape is a futher expression of its deference to Trump. This comes from the top. In 24, Sulzberger gave a talk to every desk, saying the nyt would cover Trump "fairly"

I emailed Patrick Healy, assistant managing editor for standards and trust at NYT, to ask why their story about a House report with new details of rape allegations against the President of the United States included neither those details, nor a single use of the word "rape." archive.is/1s9AM

Our election research team put out an article today explaining how the prediction markets (e.g. Kalshi, Polymarket) — and social media posts featuring visualizations from those platforms — may feed election rumors & conspiracy theories around the U.S. midterms: uwcip.substack.com/p/what-to-kn...

Pro tip from a lawyer (but not your lawyer): Publicly stating intent to commit mass harassment using technology that will by the nature of the communication cross state lines is going to cause legal problems across many jurisdictions that can bankrupt even a very wealthy person to defend against.

The only reason I can think of for this news not being absolutely everywhere is that large media orgs don’t want to be seen as putting their thumbs on the scales a week before election day. And that’s cowardly as shit.

Some context around this, from a markets person. Historically in LatAm, leftist victories have led to sharp losses over the ~3 months after an election where the left wins. Stocks also typically underperformed into those victories. But 3y post-election, returns for leftists have been *higher*.
