The CA vote purge case just keeps getting weirder. Yesterday the DOJ filed supplemental declarations, including from a Shasta Co official named Clinton Curtis, who turns out to be a wackodoo who claimed he could tell fake ballots by smell. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

washingtonpost.comAn election chief lost. Then he padlocked the ballots and called the FBI.Shasta County, California, where election doubts run so deep that some don’t trust results even when their choice prevails, offers a glimpse of what happens when distrust in voting systems takes root.

So hard to pick a favorite part of this article. Pretending that sending unsolicited dick pics at 53 was a “youthful indiscretion” is good, but don’t sleep on the argument that his wife forgave him for subjecting other women to unwanted nude photos so everyone else should too

Q: Why shouldn't Alaskans find it insulting that the administration is suggesting they can't read the word 'incumbent' on their ballot and know to vote for Sen. Sullivan? JD VANCE: People are busy. People have lives. People have jobs.

Let's be honest: Beatrice Keul is precisely the kind of woman Trump stalks.

The whole push for this came from a dark money group formed in March. Big victory for tech companies selling overpriced bags, abusive & lecherous security staff, and school shooters. What I get as a parent is an unfunded mandate for my local school board and daily fears about Uvalde. Gee, thanks.

I'd suggest next Obama says he's got the White House looking like the finest brothel in all of Kazakhstan, but Trump would probably take that one as a compliment.

It's really damning. The accusations are numerous and well-supported. But I was really struck by the descriptions of Trump's behavior -- the name dropping, strong-arming, and attempts to buy off silence. His gross rivalry with Epstein. It's all so familiar. It's shit he's been doing his entire life.

Look, I don’t think Van Drew is going down in NJ-02, but a 700 vote Democratic margin in the first day of early voting, combined wi5 a 10K Dem margin in the VBM is starting to change my mind. Last year, when Sherrill won in a blow out, Republicans were ahead in the early voting here.

The achievement of Serbian students overthrowing Aleksandar Vučić can't be overstated. In 2024, they began protesting. In 2025, they transformed a protest movement into civil dissidence. In 2026, they became a political party — and two months later, crushed a corrupt state-entrenched authoritarian.
