Masses of junior staffers who can be compelled to testify because the pardons mean they can’t plead the fifth?

Donald Trump released a man from jail and then that man molested 2 kids. If you can't do anything with that, Democratic messaging assholes, then get out of politics.

Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino marches through Minneapolis surrounded by federal agents, shouting at American citizens. This isn’t about deporting “the worst of the worst.” It’s about deliberately sowing fear and chaos in cities that oppose the Trump regime ht: @rpsagainsttrump.bsky.social

So we started a war with Venezuela because the senile old fool believes the conspiracy theory that Venezuela changed the 2020 election outcome by manipulating voting machines. And next we're going to go to war with Denmark and destroy NATO because he doesn't understand a Mercator projection.

AND a Democratic Congress needs to support all these reversals with enough legislation that a future president can’t re-Trump without congressional support. Yeah, if T did it with an exec order it can be undone the same way, but only Congress can lock it in.

Duh. Those of us on the ground last year actually speaking with middle class/working class voters and who heard from these voters every single day the same - “Trump is an asshole, but Democrats are out of touch” - could’ve saved my new political party a lot of time & money producing this “report.”👇

If they’re going to break the law and put Trump’s face on the currency, can they at least put him on a bill? Do you know how hard it is to wipe your ass with a coin?

Either the U.S. government *is* able to exert monetary and diplomatic pressure on El Salvador sufficient to produce Abrego Garcia’s release, or it isn’t. The latter would be either a bald-faced lie or a pretty stunning concession of our national impotence. The Vice President should pick one.

Other fact-based ways to frame these attacks are: a) part of an ongoing GOP war against higher ed because they view it as a hostile institution b) an authoritarian breaking any venues of dissent. Going with the Trump framing is a choice to support the war and give credence to the authoritarian.

Despite admitting to having illegally sent a guy to El Salvador by mistake, and even though the U.S. is paying El Salvador to indefinitely imprison him, the DOJ is arguing that, well, nothing to do, it's not in our hands anymore. The general tone of their response is "welp, sucks to be him."

This is an example of how nostalgia for the old days is simply nostalgia for when you were younger. The idea that America was a post-racial society in the 1970s/1980s only makes sense if you were literally a child at that time and couldn’t observe what any adult was experiencing.
