So, what's up with Hamilton? Most other municipalities across Ontario are already getting results, but still nothing for us, over an hour and a half later?? #HamOnt
Lmao what
NEW: BC Conservatives brought in a priest to exorcise bad spirits before election night at Rocky Mountaineer Station. Same venue where Kerry-Lynne Findlay was crowned leader months ago, right before her disastrous run. Divine intervention clearly worked. #bcpoli #cdnpoli

1. If you hear BC Green blaming, tell those losers to fuck right off. 2. It has always even been Eby's fault, and the centre-right NDPinc. lobbyists who believe above all that they're entitled to people's votes. 3. It's time to build a rigorous ecosocialist BC Green party with principles and [β¦]
Come on Hamilton, please don't break my heart any more tonight than it's already been broken by my home province. π

Little bit of good to drown out the little bit of bad from last night lol.
Lula has been reelected president, Brazilian media has now called. An extraordinary comeback for the left-wing politician who trailed by 2 points in round 1 but managed to hold off FlΓ‘vio Bolsonaro, the former president's son.

Very much this.
My first thought this morning? Victoria and Vancouver will need to work together to counter the cuts and setbacks that are coming. Harm reduction, non-market housing finance, housing density, etc, are all on the chopping block. @seanorr.bsky.social @lucymaloney.bsky.social Letβs hold the line.

Getting this out of the way early: if you share vote prediction screenshots for individual ridings from election projection websites And frame it as a poll or something with authority And there has been no actual polling done in that riding I will think much less of you please don't annoy me
A whole lot of British Columbians to Eby tomorrow, if the polls hold true:
So, I'm really, *really* getting tired of the whole "Doerksen is only interim CPBC leader, they'll put someone more extreme in after they win, cause its illegal for him to stay leader" conspiracy.
They'd be absolutely stupid (kind of like Eby's self serving snap election call π) to put their foot in their mouths like that. Party constitutions can be amended easily on the fly if need be.
Y'all NDPers need to stop with this pie in the sky fear mongering bullshit and get to work on a plan of what you'll actually do if and when they win tomorrow, cause you may be stuck in opposition for a lot longer than 2 years. Hold their damn feet to the fire every single damn day.

I don't like the party one bit but seriously show some logic and not this hyperpartisan NDP drivel bullshit. I will bet money on the fact that no one else but Doerksen is going to be the premier if they win the election tomorrow.
I just discovered that Ayran is delicious af. Turkish folks were on to something when they though "What if yogurt drink, but salty?"

David Eby went looking for an expanded majority government. He might end up finding himself and his party on the opposition benches after Saturday. And they have nobody to blame but themselves. #bcpoli www.nationalobserver.com/2026/10/21/o...

Insidious secret Canada. This does so much to rot out trust in govt. They did it to themselves with contempt for citizens + open & transparent information.
This is a publicly funded government agency refusing to share weather warnings and their own public warnings with a journalist at Global News, one of the larger mainstream news outlets in Canada. I really want you to sit with the bare facts of that.
Alright, well I guess the debate *did* move the needle a bit, but perhaps not in the direction Eby wanted. π¬ On the other hand, go Greens!!! π

So friggin' glad that this sore loser lost AGAIN. With an attitude like this, she and her cadre should never be in the political sphere ever again.
βVancouver, grow up.β Video by Bob Mackin of Colleen Hardwick last night insulting the intelligence of anyone who voted for Ken Sim four years ago or Pete Fry now. I wonder if her base will ever change their opinions on whether this rhetoric has been an effective way of expanding her support.

So, I'll come right out and say it. As much as I adore Emily Blunt and have always enjoyed Steven Spielberg's creativity, I kind of feel like "Disclosure Day" didn't quite fulfill my expectations. It was decent, but far from Spielberg's best. I'd give it a 6/10, but mostly because of Emily.
