Putin brought up the deal when he met with Witkoff and Kushner at the Kremlin on Sept. 5. Putin proposed it get done as a way of showing Russians that they can do business with the United States. The Americans responded that they'd work on it, seeing it as a way to build good will with the Kremlin.

PM Carney sharply criticized the decision to restrict Ukraine’s satellite access: “I search for the right adjective to describe whoever took this decision or group of people took this decision against a country that is literally fighting for the lives of the citizens against naked aggression.”

I'm shocked, shocked.
Overall, we are seeing some very odd deal talks that are supposedly a part of ending the war in Ukraine. But in fact evidence shows these deals are structured (in the most recent case secretly until now) to financially benefit Russia or business partners of the Trump and Witkoff families.

This way Russia is in on the deal now, and when Trump's gone, it'll be too far along to get them out. Trump is literally selling us out to Russia.
This is explosive. In the Witkoff/Kushner discussions with the Kremlin with respect to the sale to a Trump-backed consortium of LUKoil's foreign assets, Trump has offered a slice of his big Alaska project to a Russian major close to Putin. The structure is designed to entangle US investments
