Ansari: "The irony I want to point out is you have Trump speaking with the govt of Qatar and getting a multibillion jet. You have his son in law as well as his sons making billion dollar deals with the Saudis. But then here in the US, the way they talk about Muslim Americans & Arabs is disgusting."

Bale Dalton: My opponent says that the war in Iran and rising gas prices are the cost of freedom. Well, I'm pretty sure that we had freedom before entering into this war of choice in which the only thing that is a viable alternative of getting out is a worse situation than when we got in.

Of course the adjudicated rapist couldn't care less about someone being raped.

Q: Now that you know the backstory about Amy Acton and her stepfather and why she hasn't talked to her mom in so long -- her stepfather was indicted for rape -- do you change your mind about the ad? TRUMP: No. No. It's a mother speaking badly against Amy Acton. You don't know anything.

In addition to throttling StarLink and StarShield to allow his friend Vladimir Putin to strike Ukraine with ballistic missiles, the other thing Elon Musk does every day is sit at his keyboard and write slanderous things about James Talarico. He's utterly deranged.

Mine went up 3x for 2026 and now they have dropped our market for 2027, so I have to try and find a new plan that covers my meds and local pharmacy. --They are seriously trying to off older people. Or at a minimum they plan to strip us of every dollar we have. +Vote Blue up and down the ballot.

Here is a sample ballot in the Alaska Senate race. Despite there being two “Dan Sullivan”s on the ballot, Alaska has made sure voters know which is which. The Trump administration lawsuit is beyond a Hail Mary.

Here's an example of how INSANELY badly written complaint against 2 FBI agents is. These false charges are about what they said in interviews w/HJC. But it relies on those interviews twice before it introduces the interviews. It's like John Solomon wrote the complaint, which wouldn't surprise me.

The Republican Party's closing message to voters is basically "there is a non-zero chance that we will send armed state agents to drag you from your home if you try to participate in democracy." Vile and pathetic.

ballsandstrikes.substack.comDonald Trump Wants You to Be Afraid to VoteRepublicans are embracing a time-honored method of voter suppression: making people they deem undesirable understand that participating in democracy carries at least some personal risk.

CNN: This gas price spike is stunning. Voters were already very mad about high gas prices. Now they're going much higher. Talk about an October surprise. Two days ago, the average in Michigan was $4.44 a gallon. Look where we are now. $4.77 a gallon. That's a $0.33 increase.

This isn't going to change anything before the election. Tariffs should be an economic tool, not a political weapon. It's blatantly obvious what they're doing and it won't help them.

Putin can see that both Trump's health and his popularity are spiraling dramatically down. Putin has always had profound kompromat on Trump. Putin knows that if he waits much longer, he won't be able to use his leverage, so he's played it. That's why Trump is shifting so strongly to Russia.

No one elected Elon Musk to oversee foreign policy. Yet he was able to unilaterally slow down Starlink in Ukraine — because his enormous wealth gave him enormous power. Now he’s using that enormous wealth to buy another election and amass even more power. See the problem here?

America is *now* an ally of Russia? I'd argue it started in 2016 when the Trump campaign and the RNC softened the language on providing lethal defensive weapons to Ukraine as part of the Manafort/Kremlin/Yanukovich "peace plan" to cede Ukrainian territory to Putin. But okay. We can go with "now".

Rachel Maddow@maddow.bsky.social

"A world in which the White House is allied to the Kremlin was, until now, the stuff of paranoid fiction. Manchurian candidates and red presidents were fantasies, dark tales Americans told themselves like ghost stories... "But this alliance now exists." www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1...

Putin needs legitimacy. Trump gave him the world stage. A foreign adversary could not design a better U.S. president. That does not require proving Trump is a Russian agent. It requires noticing the pattern: Moscow gains. Kyiv loses. NATO weakens. America’s credibility declines. Cui bono? Russia.

NATO keeps Russia in check. Trump undermined the alliance. Sanctions squeeze Putin’s war machine. Trump waived new ones. Russia needs export revenue. Trump opened the door to Russian diesel. Ukraine needs U.S. backing. Trump pressured Kyiv and cut support.

Cui bono? Who benefits? Ask that question about Trump’s Russia policy — and the answer keeps pointing the same way. Russia interfered in the 2016 election. Trump cast doubt on U.S. intelligence. Ukraine needed weapons. Trump withheld approved military aid.

Remember that everything Trump says is a lie and the opposite is often true. Trump frequently claims he “rebuilt” the U.S. military. That’s the tell. He’s recklessly depleted U.S. munitions and interceptors. And once again, he’s trying to blame Biden.
