This election comes down to who you trust. I’ll fight to lower costs and always put you first. I'm asking for your vote.

Congratulations to the The Desire Foundation on the grand opening of The Parramore Market. A huge kudos to Jennifer Desir Hilaire who has dedicated herself to tackling food insecurity and uplifting our most vulnerable people in Orlando.

I promise you, there’s a new coalition emerging in American politics. And it’s emerging right here in the Florida governor’s race.

There’s a reason my opponent won’t debate me. There’s a reason she won’t go on TV to answer questions. Ashley Moody is hiding from Florida voters. So we’re taking this campaign straight to them. Thank you to all the folks who came to our Disney Town Hall. #AngieForFlorida

The Amy Acton smear is appalling. So is the Trump administration's quieter work of cutting victim services, sidelining child exploitation investigations, and weakening protections against sexual abuse.👇

NEW: Let's put into context Trump's embrace of the smearing of Amy Acton: It fits his administration's broader record of abandoning the victims of sexual abuse—and shielding their predators. www.thebulwark.com/p/trump-crue...

every once in a while I wish I could make something that resonated with a wider audience the way pop culture can but then I see something like the obsession fortnite skin, or the severance shaving ad, & I am happy once more with making art on the margins

I was watching an FDR doc earlier today, and his Republican critics at the time typically referred to him as a "communist" or "socialist", where have I heard that before? 🤔

I do not know what my job will look like when I return. My work at the Folger was intended to support the transformation of the core curriculum — a multiyear project that was being carefully undertaken by so many faculty members investing so much time on top of their regular responsibilities.

Leveraged buyouts like EA’s are the purest example of “generating shareholder value”. Sellers walk away with a premium payout, and everything of *actual* value is put at risk. We need more long-termism in the way we Business. Our obsession with extracting value is destroying our ability to make it.

Even before Rocky Colavito, there were stories that after Bragan's hiring, he hexed the team. He said he didn't have to curse the team; Frank Lane saw to that. This is but one of the weird moments in Cleveland sports covered in my book of the same name. (Thank you for indulging my shameless plug.)

He is also the shortest-tenured non-interim Cleveland manager, an early casualty of Frank Lane's reign of terror. Bragan said Lane told him, "I don't know how we're going to get along without you, Bobby, but starting tomorrow, we're going to try."

Kids appreciate and notice all the little things more than parents realize! My daughter is almost 3 & on the spectrum. I asked her yesterday what does dada love? She said mommy! Then said her name too and all her older siblings (my stepkids). I told my husband that means he is doing an amazing job!
