Trump and Republicans are restarting their voter fraud misinformation machine ahead of the midterms.
When I checked, Republican candidates were implicated in voter fraud at up to 38,000x the public’s rate.
If they were actually worried about voter fraud, they’d start with their own candidates.
My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today.
Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.
Jesse Ventura to Piker: "Here's what pisses me off -- I did 2 tours, 17 months. So did my brother. Southeast Asia. That was at the same time Donald Trump was running and hiding like the coward he is. Why didn't he join us in the Vietnam War? I've heard him talk. He said he should be a general!"
Jesse Ventura: “If Donald Trump would have gone in the military, he would have been the guy that wet his bed, cried for his mom, went hysterical, and would be carted out in the middle of the night. The man’s a coward. He’s a bully. All bullies are cowards. That’s why they’re bullies”
“How much time do you think this defense secretary spends looking in the mirror in the morning? These are not serious people” — Obama’s audience in Ohio is hanging on every word as he skewers Trump and Hegseth
Scoop: White House lawyers are weighing preemptive mass pardons for junior staff, sources says
Under discussion: Pardoning everyone involved in deportation, war, or trade policy

BREAKING:
The Trump Justice Department has moved to preemptively block certification of the results of Alaska's Senate race if Republican incumbent Sen. Dan S. Sullivan loses.
Abdul El-Sayed on JD Vance:
"I think America is big enough for all of us. His view of America is small like him. It's about pointing to other people and making the argument that the reason *you* don't have is because of *them.*"
El-Sayed came on our pod. It's good:

huh -- Trump approaches Marine One in an unusual manner, avoiding reporters, and walks through the grass next to the helipad very carefully before he boards
YIKES -- Trump loses his shit at a reporter for the third time during this Q&A -- "Wait wait -- Quiet. Quiet!!!! What's wrong with you? Are you a SICK person?"
😳 Trump loses it and SNAPS at a string of reporters, says Ilhan Omar might "go to jail," calls Somalia "a shit house," and boasts that thanks to a new program he announced today Americans "will make millions of dollars by turning others in" during absolutely deranged Oval Office event
Supercut:
Huge follow-up reporting to my scoop: The Guardian confirmed America Next—the conservative nonprofit founded by Bobby Jindal that was offering students $ to disrupt El-Sayed events—paid a firm registered to Tommy Teepell’s dad Timmy $250k for “canvassing and influencer marketing” against El-Sayed.
Remember Tommy, who asked El-Sayed if he disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood? He worked for Hawley until February 2026, then became Political Director for failed Kansas GOP candidate Philip Sarnecki. His father, Timmy Teepell, is a longtime GOP strategist who worked for Jindal and Hawley.
First, Thomas Teepell is not a voter. He lives in a different state. He was a political plant. Or, if you will, a paid protester. He is an agitator.
Second, Abul El-Sayed responded with more patience than most people could muster.
Calling him an angry, overly defensive jerk is you projecting.
Ossoff: "Maybe you saw that Donald Trump was in Dalton yesterday, oblivious to the collapse of his presidency. A crowd smaller than this one enduring two hours of senile babbling while the price of oil hit its 5 month high"
JD Vance: "I've not seen a single shred of evidence that Donald Trump participates or sanctions in that corruption ... I've not once seen evidence that Donald Trump has enriched himself"
Q: Will you disavow the Muslim Brotherhood?
El-Sayed: Yes. Why are you asking the question? Do you assume that I wouldn’t?
Q: Yes, because I have not heard you disavow them yet.
El-Sayed: Have you disavowed them? I have not heard you disavow them yet.
AOC: "When no one was watching, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was getting glasses for kids ... but when no one was looking, Mike Rogers was taking checks from pharmaceutical interests. When no one was watching, he went to go work for them in the revolving door after he left Congress."
El- Sayed: "Here‘s the thing about it – no matter who you are, how you love, how you pray, how you identify, it just should not be this hard...
Shouldn‘t be this hard to keep our money here. Spend it on roads and bridges here, build our schools here, provide healthcare here. Shouldn‘t be this hard"
Troy Jackson: "Elon Musk is running ads for you. In fact, they're running ads in Portland, Oregon, for you. But you also got an ad where you use a Teamster official saying that he supports you. He's asked you for a cease and desist."
El-Sayed: "In 2008, I watched a guy named Barack Hussein Obama run for and win the presidency. His dad emigrated from Africa. My dad emigrated from a different part of Africa. He had mixed parents. He's got a funny name. I've got a funny name. He's tall and skinny. I'm 5 foot 8."
(Reuters) - The order to limit a satellite system used by Ukraine for battlefield communications and drone operations came from inside the White House, according to two US officials and a Western official briefed on the matter.

Republicans Don’t Know Ball Update:
A hockey blogger asked the two Michigan Senate candidates for statements on the Red Wings.
Rogers: blah blah Michigan loves the Red Wings

Q: Can you name a time when you voted against Trump and it changed the outcome?
SUSAN COLLINS: At one point, I had organized people to vote against Sec. Hegseth. At the very last minute one of our Republicans changed his mind. Otherwise he would've been defeated.
Q: So it didn't change the outcome
Thirty years ago, Susan Collins promised Maine voters she’d serve only two terms. Now she’s a multimillionaire asking them for a sixth.
Her current net worth is estimated to be roughly $6.8 million.
Not bad for a Senate salary of $174,000 per year.
Trump on Katie Hobbs: "She's a dumb person. You ever see her? She looks -- I swear she's a dumb. I know smart people. I deal from Elon down to Katie. Elon is 80 percent super genius and 20 percent he has a little problem."
Trump was asked what state his new White House press secretary, Katie Zacharia, passed the bar in.
Her answer: CHINA.
Does she speak Chinese? The bar exam is in Chinese, not English. Is she a Chinese citizen, as required?
Homegirl wasn’t hired. She was CAST.
"When Trump plucked Katie Zacharia from obscurity & appointed her as his new press sec, he called her 'an attorney.' This is also how Zacharia describes herself. But Popular Information searched for evidence in all 50 states, plus DC, that she was admitted to practice law anywhere — & found none."
Trump earlier this year: Kimberly Guilfoyle has been my friend for a long time. I love calling her Kimberlay. That’s my little pet name, right? I hope you come back here in 12 years or whenever the term ends.
Trump today: She was not a member of my family. I guess she dated my son a long time ago.
