Back in the US after a long break in the UK, I am suffering from total sticker shock after visiting a couple of DC supermarkets. I have never seen prices like it. Inflation numbers here are going to soar & are not yet telling the full story. The difference between late May & today is staggering.

I am getting increasingly frustrated by the blind acceptance of β€œfreedom of speech” when what we are seeing is the fertilisation of hatred. We need a serious reappraisal of the context in which it should be possible to mention certain facts & to examine the motives of certain commentators.
