to have the quest described to them, one of them assaults your guards, another starts stealing everything not bolted down, a third starts trying to seduce you or your spouse (or both), and the last one loudly cuts you off to complain that the group didn't buy enough pitons or oil before coming here.

Apparently Galactic Racer is really really good, a sort of roguelite Burnout (!), so I might be giving that a try after I get Wardogs and Ace Combat out of my system.

In between streams I've really wanted to play Ace Combat 8 more, so I dipped a toe into the multiplayer and there's co-op! It's been scratching the itch. Apologies to the people I was matched up with who had to tolerate me plodding along in an EA-6B Prowler, using its ECM instead of proper weapons.

The NASDAQ changed its IPO waiting period rules after SpaceX slithered up to it and batted its eyelashes. Thanks to that, just fifteen days after Anthropic IPOs, it'll be able to get listed there and start affecting retirement accounts and passive investors.

Reuters got some of the IPO docs. Anthropic is a total dog of a company. Spent $12.6bn to make $4.6bn in revenue in 2025, $7.33bn of which was compute costs. Operating loss of $8bn. Losses getting worse year over year. Amazing stuff www.reuters.com/business/fin...

Saw Resident Evil. Enjoyable! Does not plod at ALL—plenty of changes in locale, likeable characters (what little characterization there is), and it's a lean hour and a half long. It will challenge your desire to yell things at the screen, but that's because you care what's happening.

Tonight in Wardogs I earned a respectable chunk of change by looking at enemies from a high place through binoculars and snitching on their location to teammates. I didn't even bother investing in a gun.
