There is a plus side to this: A large WPA-style jobs program hiring people to undo all this shit.

“You said the 2020 election was rigged by either Venezuela or China. When you called that fella in Georgia pleading for 11,780 votes, was that part of the rigging, or part of the 6-year investigation? Just one more thing, sir, who was president while all this rigging took place?”

It’s always interesting how “emotional” was treated as a disqualifier for women, but anger, grievance, and public meltdowns are often rebranded as strength when they come from male politicians.

AOC: This is what I want people to understand: this is our money. When you pay your taxes, that money is being stolen to pay for a vanity project like a ballroom or whatever it is that this guy wants to do, instead of what it should be used for…

A second federal commission reviewing Trump’s plan to build a 250-foot vanity arch in Washington with a 60-foot-tall gilded, winged Lady Liberty figure has been deluged with negative comments from the public. 99% of the 1696 comments were negative. www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...

The US is more vulnerable than at any other time. We have an unstable president who relies on his unqualified cabinet. He sent his son in law & another real estate guy to negotiate an end to the war he started. We're running out of weapons. This is the most vulnerable America has ever been

He fucked it up in less than a day. The man’s a titanic loser who can’t do anything worthwhile. Just a dumb racist poster, really.

NEW: The DNC just passed a resolution condemning dark money donations - including those to AIPAC. A member of the DNC proposed a resolution condemning dark money through AIPAC, but the DNC panel rejected that and expanded it to include all dark money donations.

A miraculous work-around. (Ahmmm ... States' rights, anyone?) Go Montana! May this solution spread to all 50 states!

GAME CHANGER: Montana just found the "exit ramp" to kill Citizens United. They aren't waiting for the Supreme Court—they’re going around them. 74% of voters are on board and corporate lawyers are PANICKING. This is how we win. 🏔️💸 www.dworkinsubstack.com/p/army-secre...

It's not that Donald sent this as awful as it is; it's that nobody felt they could stop him or, worse, nobody thought they should.

The founders believed that if a madman became president, members of Congress would serve the country’s interest and remove him from office. That seemed a reliable system to safeguard the republic. Boy, did they screw up.

It looks like the war on Iran is going about as poorly as the regime’s previous wars against Chicago, Minnesota and Los Angeles.

Trump multiple times just today has said the country is at war. War can only be declared by Congress, and Iran posed no imminent threat. What Trump is doing there is a textbook illegal war and impeachable offense — if we still had a Congress.
