The other implication of his run -- that Toronto has slid into flith and chaos because we don't have a white man at the helm -- is the vilest dog-whistling shit, especially since Chow is still working to clean up the mess John Tory and the Fords left behind.

The pedophile protection party’s president is laundering right-wing conspiracy theories through the most corrupt DOJ in American history. Whenever the news turns bad, this creep reaches for one name: mine. So let’s make it crystal clear. My name has always been Ilhan Omar.

The West Wing “Two Cathedrals” or this list is fooey.

Few things are more satisfying than watching a show pull off a clever and high-octane episode, Stephanie Bai wrote in 2025. For those looking to revisit some greats, our writers and editors answered the question: What do you think is a perfect episode of TV? theatln.tc/VpdFUYeZ

On this day in 1812, the Battle of Queenston Heights was fought. The British and Canadian troops, and their Mohawk allies, defeated the American invaders. Over 100 soldiers died in the battle, including British Major General Isaac Brock. 🎨 John David Kelly

NY City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams spoke at an emergency press conference tonight following the shooting of an unarmed father in the Bronx who was picking up his 5-year-old son. Williams said the federal government will try to paint the victim as a criminal in order to justify this shooting.

Stephen Harper has, as we've long awaited, weighed in against Alberta separatism. But man oh man, do I have to strongly quibble with him claiming sentiment was zero when he was PM. Here's a 2014 poll putting belief in separation at 23%, which is where it sits now. nationalpost.com/opinion/step...

We started a trade war with these people because the president, who has some sort of degenerative brain disease with visible bruises on his hand's injection site that the press doesn't talk about, was bored.

If you’ve ever thought “how can people watch that, don’t they know it’s fake?” Seinfeld was fake. Game of Thrones is fake. All entertainment is fake. It’s the Shakespeare of it, like this guy’s mom narrating his entrance, that resonates better than most other forms of entertainment. Art right here:
