Neville fuming over Utds recruitment. Obviously has high expectations for them but don’t hear the same criticism from any of these pundits when Everton’s recruitment is discussed. Sick of the double standards and the way certain teams are framed.

The numbers aren't capped as such under free movement, but people cannot move solely to claim benefits and serious criminals can be expelled or refused entry - so "unlimited" is misleading

Laura Kuessenberg promoting her morning programme on BBC News attacks Andy Burnham's comments on renewing relationships with EU stating this will mean 'unlimited immigration going backwards and forwards.' How does she get away with that?

As Israel repeats in the West Bank what it did in Gaza, because we allowed it, let us post the definition of genocide. Oxford Dictionary: “the murder of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group, with the aim of destroying that nation or group.”

As the debate over Ai continues both #BBC & #Sky news channels are reporting on the storms. Journalists are stood, blown about by the strong winds, on cliffs with stormy waters crashing onto rocks behind, as they breathlessly tell us it is windy. Anyway let's go back to artificial intelligence 😂

The truth is that Thatcher pissed away the oil wealth and the proceeds of privatisation on unemployment benefit in her class war to destroy organised labour. It was necessary to shut down a very large part of our manufacturing sector to kill off the unions. This was vandalism on a massive scale.

UK Chancellor announces £2bn Energy Wealth Fund after Jackdaw gas project. PR gesture. UK squandered North Sea wealth in tax cuts for corporations and the rich. Norway didn't, has $2.4 trillion sovereign fund. UK govts fight class wars, long-term neglected.

stergio.bsky.social reposted

The govt itself has admitted Jackdaw won't bring down energy bills or create many jobs. So I asked the PM: does Labour disagree with the overwhelming scientific consensus that fossil fuels must stay in the ground? Or was lobbying from the oil and gas lobby simply too difficult to ignore?

I’d like to know WHEN the architects of this catastrophe will be held to account! Is there no accountability for rich/privileged ppl? Ppl died because the Tory gov failed the population. Workers died because they were not protected. NO WONDER ppl have lost faith in politics/the establishment

I saw a video of a man with his head blown off by Israel in Gaza today a few hours ago. You probably won't hear about it on your news. Just another Israeli war crime during a 'ceasefire' Another murdered Palestinian Israel is an evil racist terrorist state committing genocide & ethnic cleansing.

The national media are owned or (BBC) captured by the grasping predatory capitalists who want you to turn against the NHS so that their ilk can drive it under and can coerce the population into a US-style private medical-pharma nightmare so they can gouge us all into our graves.

It is fashionable to criticise the NHS. It even has it's own regular criticism spot on #BBC, #Sky News. However my experience of abdominal surgery has been a success. From GP to hospital & surgery I met dedicated & highly skilled staff doing what they do despite what they see & hear on tv daily. 1/

Was I just lucky Anybody else? Because if I listen to the drip drip of negativity from the national media I should be rushing off to pay for private medical care that I can't afford & then be seen by staff trained by the NHS. Or is that the point. Take a bow Warrington & Halton Hosp. You done good.

We see no indication from Russia that it wants to end this war, or pursue any form of truce or peace. That's why we need to help Ukrainians get through winter and defend their country. Ukrainians need more air defence. We need to increase pressure on Russia to make it clear they have to negotiate.

Our NHS has been hollowed out over the last few decades. Thank you @premnsikka.bsky.social The UK has 2.4 NHS beds PER 1,000 people Japan: 12.6 Germany: 7.7 Austria: 6.6 France: 5.4 OECD average: 4.2 This is why we have the disgrace of corridor care. It's time to invest and rebuild our NHS
