Not a great look to run an injured running back into the ground two weeks after nearly killing your quarterback.

Stop doing this to Saquon. He's clearly not healthy.

This is about as close as we get to beating Ohio State these days, so I'll take whatever we can get

I'm so glad you asked, here is one path Penn State beat Marshall Who beat South Alabama Who beat Ohio Who beat Jacksonville State Who beat Georgia Southern Who beat Old Dominion Who beat App State Who beat JMU Who beat San Diego State Who beat Texas State Who beat North Texas (continued)

Baseball is just so damn hard to predict. A rotation of Hamels/Myers/Moyer/Blanton did what Halladay/Lee/Hamels/Oswalt couldn't, and it was largely because of a bullpen of Chad Durbin, Scott Eyre, JC Romero, and JA Happ (plus of course Lidge/Madson) who carried them through.

For everyone in the replies: AI weather models are one of the good use cases (and I hate most AI). AI weather models take a small fraction of the computing power compared to traditional weather models (see: www.noaa.gov/news-release...). DeepMind's tropical forecast abilities are stellar.

I am VERY much against taunting penalties, but I kind of feel like this is the one occasion where it's probably justified?

The Vikings being the last undefeated team left while having the worst offense in the NFL by success rate is truly one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen

Well at least the Eagles will still have a better year than the Bolsonaros

Went and saw You Can See Everything, going to take a while to wrap my brain around it. Did I just get Inceptioned in real life?

With apologies to Dr Doom, various Robert Pattinson characters, and the whale in Whalefall, there will be no villain in movies this year more easy to hate than Billy Evans

This was the coolest commercial, everyone my age remembers it, yet I don't know a single person who actually played this game

I know things change week to week, but watching a pretty average Bucs team tear the Panthers a new one just highlights how terrible the Eagles are right now

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

For the rest of my life, whenever the name Jim Harbaugh crosses my line of sight, i'll want to bring up that video about how Harbaugh - a sub-median journeyman NFL *quarterback* - has more career rushing yards than Bo Jackson.

Denny Carter@dennycarter.bsky.social

Is Jim Harbaugh a psyop? Some are asking.

Was listening to the Ringer NFL podcast where they cleared this up--he wasn't ordered to stay awake, but was up until 4AM at the hospital and then got some sleep. Still shouldn't have played but I think the Eagles were done a bit dirty by some of the original reporting from the nat'l reporters.
