Hey! You! Do you like... learning things? Do you like... laughing?? Do you like... being that annoying person in the conversation who gets to say "um ACTUALLY Einstein wasn't even that smart he couldn't even swim and he KEPT falling in the ocean and making people save him"?
Then you'll LOVE my book
Again: the thing that drives people the most insane about the media isn't the Fox News/GB News "immigrants ate my hamster" stuff. That's all just baked in. It's when the Reasonable Liberals are presented with a story that would challenge power, and it just slides off and vanishes into smoke.
i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.
There are credible allegations of rape against the president, and evidence his administration has taken steps to cover up his relationship with the world's most notorious pedophile.
This story is being covered more aggressively by People Magazine than the NY Times, Wash Post, or Wall St Journal.
I emailed Patrick Healy, assistant managing editor for standards and trust at NYT, to ask why their story about a House report with new details of rape allegations against the President of the United States included neither those details, nor a single use of the word "rape."

The powerful executives who cozied up to Trump didn't oops accidentally forget about pendulum swings. They either:
1) Like the fascism
2) Calculated it was here to stay, so going along was savvy
3) Saw no real downside, no consequences when the pendulum swung
Crucial to show them 3 was a mistake
The only reason I can think of for this news not being absolutely everywhere is that large media orgs don’t want to be seen as putting their thumbs on the scales a week before election day. And that’s cowardly as shit.
Beyond disgusted by even more rape allegations against the President of the United States.
"In total, more than 25 different women...have independently accused Donald Trump of rape, sexual assault, or other sexual misconduct."

I think it’s lack of fibre, too — when I was perplexed about how many Americans get food poisoning from chain restaurants (!) someone sent me an interesting thing about how lots of US eaters think they’ve been poisoned by Taco Bell but in reality they just never normally eat that many beans.
We published this story late Friday afternoon amid an avalanche of news so I’m reposting it now because Kohen Wiley’s life mattered more than a box of diapers.
My first IT class in high school we had to make PowerPoint presentations about ourselves and mine had an entire slide devoted to how much I was in love with the elf twink. Wordart abound

This went on for the rest of the full hour, at which point the BBC apologised for having to go to the weather and urged viewers to follow continuing live coverage on iPlayer.
Forty-one minutes of unfiltered, unchallenged propaganda by a far right party with 8 MPs, now third in the polls.
Discuss.
BBC News just interrupted its coverage to go, live, to Nigel Farage - a man with no contitutional standing in our setup - responding to the budget - a document which nobody has seen yet.
WHY

Just installed my 26-year-old copy of Word on a new desktop. I will never pay subscription fees for software I already paid for. I will go live in a shack in the woods first.
I think this becomes quite understandable in the context of an international fascist movement that has swept much of the planet in a decade, with horrifying and very extreme consequences for the entire species
I could spend the rest of my life analysing this feedback sign in the local Home Bargains.
Did 'not happy' break from overuse? Was it taped over to ensure 100% positive feedback? Is the green 'b' in 'feedback' some kind of subliminal nudge? Is the duck tape indent because people still keep pressing?
Hi. I, a trans woman, am the Executive Producer of this show. I wrote the question. He called trans girls men. He has now said it in three different places in the past week.
Meanwhile, pro-democracy, pro-Europe protesters in Tbilisi, Georgia, are tonight nearing their 700th consecutive day of protest against the pro-Russian government.
They haven't missed a single day in the last 23 months.
The people of Serbia celebrating the defeat of the dictator who held full authoritarian control of their country for nearly 14 years. This is what democracy looks like.
This is the same rhetorical trick that Brazilian media uses, where the fact that the federal police is investigating corruption that is then being prosecuted becomes a scandal "unfolding under [the president's] watch".
Lula:
"We had to overcome foreign interference through digital platforms, which we will have to regulate. A crime in the digital world must be treated the same as a crime in the real world.
We cannot have monstrous companies earning millions... not paying taxes... wanting to steer elections."
