I've always been a vote blue no matter who guy, but I've got Trans kids and I think I'm right there with you on this. Everybody yelling at you for this should be yelling at these politicians for cravenly abandoning some of their most vulnerable constituents. They're the ones who suck!

Someone on here argued that it was only 32 democrats out of hundreds saying these things. Let me reframe something here - 32 people can be a military platoon. There is an entire military platoon of democrats out of their army that don't believe in human rights. That is not an insignificant reach.

The elections are on next Tuesday, and so much is at stake, including the soul of the Democratic Party when it comes to transgender people. I am asking you to leave a very small number of races blank in which a Democrat has embraced extreme anti-trans hate. I make my case here.

To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

I want all trans people to know that Erika Hilton is a black transwoman and the most-voted congresswoman in the history of Brazil, with 1.5 millions votes. She campaigned for Lula over the last three weeks. WE TRANS PEOPLE CAN EXIST IN POLITICS. It’s not a dream. It’s already a reality in Brazil!

As a cis woman, my No. 1 criteria for deciding whether to vote for a candidate is “Do: they explicitly support trans people?” I have yet to find anyone who supports trans rights who doesn’t also support: - people from other minority/ marginalised communities - the environment - financial equality

Anti-trans Democrats are spreading poison when we can least afford it, during elections in this ongoing fascist takeover. As a strategy, it’s a recipe for failure. As a moral stand, it’s reprehensible. PS I’m the father of young trans woman and I’ll never forgive anyone who makes her life harder.
