Sen. Booker just broke the record for the longest floor speech in Senate history—a record set by Strom Thurmond trying to block the Civil Rights Act. The irony ain’t lost on us. From fighting against justice to fighting for it. This is what courage & being on the right side of history looks like!

If you spread that the Democrats aren’t doing anything, but you refuse to follow ALL Democrats (House, Senate, DNC etc), you are helping spread disinformation. If you don’t want to follow all Democrats, then you have absolutely no right to say they’re not doing anything or not doing enough

This week, I hosted an intimate listening session with constituents in historic South Central to discuss the most pressing issues in their neighborhood & how the federal government can better serve them. More to come—let us know if you want us to come to your neighborhood next⬇️

I was a teacher for almost 30 years and in NY-22 we love our public schools, our teachers, and we want every student to succeed. The administration's attempts to dismantle the Department of Education are misguided and illegal - and you can count on me to fight it every step of the way.

And, probably most importantly, @bennet.senate.gov said “it's important for people to know when it's time to go.” it’s gonna take a little bit before it gets more direct than this, and the first person to be direct is not going to be a senator, but this is a start. 13/

npr.orgSen. Bennet on Dem leaders: 'It's important for people to know when it's time to go'Colorado Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet stopped short Wednesday of calling on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to step down from leadership, but came pretty darn close.

The average SNAP benefit is $6 a day, so I just tried to buy a week’s worth of groceries for $42. Meanwhile, Trump and Republicans want to cut SNAP to give tax cuts to billionaires. Make it make sense. #SNAPChallenge25

The strongest argument against the Democrats, who aren’t yet doing the right thing is to lift up the voices of the ones who are. All of them, not just the three whose names you know off the top of your head. Positive reinforcement is always the best way to change someone’s heart and mind. 1/2
