Meta took down the No Kings organizing page today - the biggest day of protest this fall. They provided zero explanation. It stayed down for the entire afternoon until most of the protests were done. Outrageous. Put this on the January investigation list.

Talarico: I've heard credible reports that Ken Paxton has a serious medical condition that causes clinical levels of cowardice. People are concerned. He has asked for proof of life from me. I'm asking for proof of spine from him.

I registered Republican as an 18yo kid and blissfully voted GOP until the 1992 RNC switched my vote. I’ve seen a lot of GOP bullshit over my 60+ years but I NEVER thought I’d see Republicans embrace Russia as a friend and shun Canada as an enemy. It’s madness.

Before calling someone a “dirtbag,” the Senator should have had his facts straight. An apology is in order. Glad one of us knew the difference between the Atlanta Hawks and the Iowa Hawkeyes!

FYI this bill does nothing. It contains no new mandatory rules restricting data centers. It's just fakery to try to fool voters into forgetting that Republicans spent the entire term trying to stop states from regulating AI (as requested by the AI companies). www.semafor.com/article/09/2...

The Detroit Free Press endorsed El-Sayed. "Everything you’ve heard about Michigan’s U.S. Senate race is true: An extremist is asking voters to send him to Washington, masking an agenda far out of step with Michigan's mainstream under the pretense of normalcy...that man is not El-Sayed." Ouch!.

I’d like to thank the local Republican Party for sending me a text with their endorsements for ‘non-partisan’ races. Very helpful! (as with all things Republican, I will check it for accuracy)

Good reporting about a strong Kansas Democratic candidate. I don’t think it’s coincidence that the Great Depression was also 94 years ago. I’m hoping family farms have finally learned that current Republicans only care about corporate farms.

“I don’t think our secretary of state or our president are really understanding … this hurts our Republican counties a lot more than it hurts our blue counties.” Republicans seem to assume this SCOTUS will deny that which they demand. Risky at best.

Cool, cool, I have a couple quick questions -- who's in charge of preventing food-induced illnesses right now and how good a job are they doing?

Susan Collins announcing she'll vote against a controversial nominee is basically the moment it becomes clear that nominee will be confirmed. It means Thune has enough votes to confirm, and thus, Collins gets a pass to look independent.
