I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

GOP Rep Gabe Evans has used his heritage and his family's immigration story as a shield against criticism of his support for Trump's deportations. @chasewoodruff.bsky.social reports that the story isn't true.

Colorado Republican Rep. Gabe Evans has centered his pro-Trump political identity — and his support for mass deportation — on the story of his Mexican-American grandfather, who he has repeatedly said immigrated “the legal way.” Documents show that isn’t true.

Thank you, Daniel Engber, for bearing witness to the debacle of RFK Jr's ACIP. The ignorance on display is profound. Unfortunately, they're just getting started. The plans to review the entire childhood vaccine schedule will likely further undermine public trust. www.theatlantic.com/health/archi...

It shouldn't need to be said, but "People who followed an early version of my religion lived in this land a couple of thousand years ago" is not a slam-dunk excuse for ignoring international law and committing ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Peregrine Falcon pursuing tired landbirds as they fly past the lighthouse at Point Reyes National Seashore. This one was chasing a flock of Lesser Goldfinches.

Instead of making them do those calculations and wasting all that electricity and water to mint BTC, they could’ve just made people cut down trees and burn them. Like now maybe 1 BTC for every 100 trees. About the same environmental impact but at least we’d be able to still get the processing chips.
