Trying to get water to look like water, on a sketch, is a fun challenge. These are mostly waterfall sketches, the pencil ones from life, while on walks with family, and the watercolours from what the life drawings supplied to my imagination (i.e. these waterfalls only exist in my paintings).

Why is it packages that are supposed to tear open, don’t. Like a pkg of Famous Amos cookies? The worst are soy packets. You need a degree in bomb disposal or engineering to open one of those.

So yesterday… and the day before I drove 6 hours. Emptied my storage unit. Stayed in a crappy hotel, only one around. Then the other 6 hours, and put my stuff in another place. I was tired. I slept till 7am. I never do that. And now you know….

In case you’re curious? RVs have NO insulation. You notice this when you touch an outside wall and your hand freezes.

Two other things about my RV park. They lock the toilet paper? Is this a problem? Toilet paper theft? And They are watering the grass at 30f temperatures.

So the kid tonight is 49… it had been a low of 90 two weeks ago.

I have made it to my next destination. I’m here for about three weeks. It usually goes I’m good the first week, itchy to go the second, and can’t wait to get back on the road the third week. I doubt I’ll ever find a place to stay longer than a month ever again. 🤣

This is why I got out of corporate world… That font looks darker did you change fonts. The drop shadow on that word looks more green than grey on the yellow background. Did you change it? No? You’re sure? Must be the rendering. What browser? Chrome? Oh that explains it. Ok. No chrome
