As ridiculous as the Mercury Music Prize has become, I love to see Knats hitting TV screens all over the country. I’ve been following them for years, the first time I saw them they were tiny, I reckon they must have still been in school, and it was already some of the best live music I’d ever heard

Getting a lot of plays on this Third Kind album at the moment thirdkindrecords.bandcamp.com/album/now-what

#cassette Two more superb cassettes from Black Pylon arrived a couple of days ago; Three from Corvid One, and Resistance from TMLFS. There is a surprising amount of good stuff happening in the world of DIY cassettes. They sound really good too. This format has some life left!

Plan for today: to listen to as many of these tapes as possible #cassettes #rainywednesday

I am asking you all once again to listen to Lila Tristram wiaiwya.bandcamp.com/album/america

I don’t really like the term “underground music” because it’s just describing the market position, not the music itself. Also there’s obviously the worm connotations. “Alternative” is similar, but no worms.

Shall be spinning this album tomorrow to celebrate ten years of one of my absolute faves 🤍

Listening party for the Hattie Cooke debut album tonight at 8pm BST to celebrate 10 year anniversary. Third Kinders in the live chat and there’ll be a new bonus track, which will be added to your collection if you already have the album hattiecooke.bandcamp.com/merch/hattie...

It looks like there’s a new Sussex Telecom remix coming out tomorrow

I was hoping to do a live session for you guys but unfortunately I have flu and no longer have a voice! However, we've got a listening party tomorrow (8th) at 8pm UK time where you can ask questions and I'll generally chat nonsense. Follow the link to RSVP! hattiecooke.bandcamp.com/merch/hattie...
