Why the F should bike lanes & infill be referendum questions? Why does anyone in Smoky Lake, Lac La Biche or Raymond have to do with infill or bike lanes in Calgary, Edmonton or Red Deer? What does Smith think we elected municipal govts for? #ABpoli #YEG #YYC #ABleg

Here's the story where she talks about a referendum next year Forward to the 1:05 mark and play from there She says she has two things for next year's referendum ballot I'm not making it up #ableg #abpoli edmonton.citynews.ca/2026/10/26/s...

I should have also say the reciprocal applies. Why should any Calgarian or Edmontonian have any say in bike lanes or infill Lac La Biche or Raymond. Its not a one size fits all issue.

If Danielle Smith really wants to be the Mayor of Edmonton or of Calgary, she should step down and run in the next municipal election. Then she can complain about how provincial government overreach is preventing her from doing her job.

Danielle Smith seems to be consistently lagging public opinion & reality. #ABpoli

New polling from Environics on immigration. From the most-watched line graph, not back to where we were, but a significant bounce back.

To Canadians everywhere Smith & the UCP are trying to gerrymander Alberta's ridings so that they can never lose This should to be a concern for every Canadian because if Smith is successful there's nothing to stop your provincial government from doing this to you @mark-carney.bsky.social #cdnpoli 🇨🇦

What possible reason can the premiers of Alberta & Quebec have for missing Monday’s First Nations-First Ministers' Meeting? I’ll give a pass for BC’s new premier, although I’m going to guess he would have skipped it anyway. This is so disrespectful. Just another shameful example of Smith’s arrogance

Danielle Smith says that schools like the one in her constituency that flies multiple international flags inside the school will be able to get an exemption. Want to guess what’s not in the new regulations? An exemption process. Or even the word “exemption”.

The Government of Alberta, after stripping charter-rights from trans kids, decided to go even further and defacto ban pride flags. Because queer kids weren't bullied enough already, so the government had to make clear that they don't belong, aren't welcome.

Is no one going to ask *how* she plans on enforcing this? The party bylaws don't give her authority. This isn't the APP. Bylaws do matter.

Smith confirmed she will continue to use taxpayer dollars to appeal the shutdown of the original separatist question... But regardless of the outcome, she won't ask another separation question. She wants the ruling to ensure First Nations don't have to be consulted. #abpoli

Dear #BCpoli; Yes, Eby f-d up by calling this snap election. Huge unforced error, & he deserves political consequences for that. But take it from an Albertan: you don’t want the west coast version of UCP running your province. You don’t want an echo of our mess. Vote wisely. XOX 🫶
