On the loss of BioWare 💔

Can confirm that this is a real trailer of the Mass Effect game that BioWare was developing up until its closure yesterday www.reddit.com/r/masseffect...

Might paint Morrigan again, fuck it

If you ever wondered why the first Dragon Age took over 6 years to develop (and almost got canceled), this article goes into partly why: the team couldn't agree on what *kind* of fantasy our new fantasy game was going to be. Yes, there's an alternate universe out there where it was more Conan. 😉

Hey squad, keen to get a thread going of story driven video games because... they're great and I want to keep playing and supporting them. I'll start: The Drifter rules and it's the perfect game to play on the Nintendo Switch 2 IMO.

I took 15 minutes to make a cuppa and impulse purchased the veilguard art book so I am doing GREAT thanks for asking

One more for the afternoon crowd. Two of the last lines of dialogue I wrote on the last BioWare game I shipped.

every year my students have to write a piece about life affirming games and dragon age or mass effect *always* comes up for its care and resonance w queer players, its legacy is undeniable and it’s fucked that greed has cut its future off im so sick of this shit

"oh someone else will buy bioware or fund new studios or get the IP" WITH WHOSE MONEY

. @mischiefmakers.studio gave me easily the dumbest and best commission request of 'None burger left beef' and one day, after launch, I will share the unhinged emails Jess and I sent back and forth agonising over how sad the burger would look with and without meat crumbs

Anyone else manage to get the full set? Shout-out to our food pic artists @peachsharks.bsky.social , @untitledlucegame.bsky.social , and @/nautilics (Insta) - luv ur work 😌

Aside from the obvious concerns, when you slide a LLM-made pitch/submission/EOI across my desk I am left with the feeling that you do not give enough of a shit about your own idea to create a pitch document so how the hell can I trust you to care about the actual project?

I started with Leda's route in Fortune's Weave. She's lk unhinged but shes my kind of unhinged❤️ Meanwhile Mu is hard carrying me🫰 #leda I #fefw I #art
