A lot of the comments on this petition go pretty hard.

Over 2,000 alumni from Vivek’s all-boys catholic high school in Cincinnati have signed and circulated a petition demanding that he pull the ad and issue a public apology for “ignoring the moral responsibilities” of his Jesuit education. I think he’s pretty cooked.

I think a cool thing for a dem opponent to do would be to post a picture of a Cheesecake Factory menu from 3 years ago and today, note the price difference and say something like “he’s out here posing for photos instead of addressing the rising cost of a working family going out for dinner”

If you were worried about a photograph being made public by a group of manipulative liars maybe you shouldn’t have posed for a photograph where he’s draped by men in their collars praying over him. You’re just mad people are mad at you

The NYT story does not even include the word rape. Not once.

The only reason I can think of for this news not being absolutely everywhere is that large media orgs don’t want to be seen as putting their thumbs on the scales a week before election day. And that’s cowardly as shit.
