Too early. Too small. Too niche. Mozilla Foundation is ready to bet on the builders who believe bigger isn’t always better. More to come Oct 21👀

Showed up at an AI conference today, and talked about the web. Turns out people liked it. Many folks here don’t "build" AI, they’re trying to use it. WebMCP lets you reuse your existing app as is, and gives you a say in how agents use it. Cause they already do.

In today’s Vatnik Soup, we’ll introduce the “Safeguard Swiss neutrality” ballot initiative, which goes to a nationwide vote in Switzerland on 27 September. Superficially, its promise can sound appealing: peace, sovereignty, and permanent armed neutrality. But most of that is a distraction:

2.5 years in the making, and 1.0 is here. It's been a gratifying journey to make durable software that we feel challenges the notion of what working with images today should feel like.

`import defer` is the new ES2025 syntax for lazy module loading. Deno is the first runtime to ship it and with TypeScript support. Big win for CLI startup and conditionally-loaded code.

I built a GitHub Action that auto-fixes CI failures using Claude. CI fails on a PR → Claude analyzes the error → fixes it → commits. No context switch. No human in the loop for mundane stuff. The best AI workflow is the one you never have to trigger. 🔗 gist.github.com/ArnaudRinqui...

Tired of repeating yourself to coding agents? Agents should actually learn from our feedback. AGENTS .md and simple playbooks helped my agents improve week by week—less babysitting, more progress. Tried this? Let me know or repost! buff.ly/5qi4pic #.ai #.automation

Ok, I'll retract this statement, as it seems *a lot* of people still use rgba() and hsla(). Instead, I will recommend anyone who uses hsla() or rgba() to read this article, as even the comma-separated syntax is now legacy. piccalil.li/blog/a-pragm...

I think the biggest giveaway that CSS has been generated using some sort of LLM (outside of the mistakes it might have made) is that they all seem to use `rgba()` or `hsla()`. Is there so much training stuff out there still using the `a` with those? We haven't needed it for like a decade now.
